003 " liar "

There's a sense of calmness over the sea before a storm, a soft wave of relaxation before the winds rupture the weather and the rains flood even the deepest of seas. Elle always felt a sensation of peace when she was near the sea, she felt at home.

It was her natural instinct to be near the water, even if it was staying under the shower for an unnecessary amount of time. The water was calming, always reminding her of her home and birthplace.

Elle always felt all her emotions when she was in the water, she would bottle it all up until she reached the water and then she could let it all out. It was an incredibly relieving state for her. But Elle Waldorf was not relieved.

Lydia Martin had seen her. She had seen her in her natural siren form and Elle wasn't entirely sure on what to do. She couldn't kill Lydia, no. The strawberry blonde had probably already called all her weird friends. Allison Argent, Stiles Stilinski and Scott McCall.

Scott McCall, the same boy who had stared at her when she sang, and the same boy who thought she hadn't recognised him. But she had.

Elle noticed everyone and everything, her indigo eyes caught every movement that happened in and out of school. So of course she knew of Scott McCall's 'condition'. Stilinski wasn't exactly quiet when he talked about their life full of problems.

So, yes, Elle was aware of the werewolf, banshee, hunter and human. But now they were possibly aware of her, and that meant they would investigate and if there was one thing Elle Waldorf hated, it was people asking questions.

She had driven to the school, Elle was at Beacon Hills High after her encounter with Lydia Martin. Given that the other swimming pool was occupied by a decapitated body, Elle would have to settle for the swim team's pool.

However the siren wasn't allowed her freedom due to the loud banging of werewolves in the upper part of the school.

She froze, listening in on the growls of the agitated animals, trying to pinpoint their location. Their footsteps were getting lower down the school, nearer to her.

Feeling fangs grow from her gums and her indigo eyes glow luminous, Elle allowed her face to morph into one of a killer. She crept up the stairs, not expecting for a female werewolf to tackle her to ground and try to rip her face off.

Elle growled and threw the werewolf off of her, watching it hit the lockers.

Suddenly, the sound of squeaks echoed along the floor from Scott McCall's sneakers. He turned down the hallway only to see the mysterious singer screaming and running away from Cora Hale.

Not thinking twice, Scott launches himself on top of Cora, stopping her in her advance of the innocent girl and screaming at her to run.

"Run! Go!" He waved his hand at the girl who even with tears flooding down her face, still managed to be beautiful. Their lasting eye contact ended as soon as Elle ran away, down the hall and away from the school to her car.

She kept her head down and produced a new set of tears when she saw Chris Argent watching her.

"Woah, woah! Who are you?" He jogged over and stopped her movements.

Elle plastered fake terrified look on her face and waved her hands about hysterically, "I-, wha-what's going on in there?" She stuttered out, thankfully convincing Argent.

"It's okay, you're gonna be okay." He promised, "What's your name?"

"Elle, Elle Waldorf." The siren sobbed dramatically,

"Well Elle, go home. Get some rest. Forget this ever happened." Argent ordered her. She nodded meekly stumbling over to her car and driving away.

As soon as Elle was out onto the empty roads, she wiped away the fake tears and carried on driving, a sly smirk on her face.

She waltzed into her empty home, still smirking in triumph. Now that McCall believe her to be an innocent victim, he wouldn't believe a word Lydia said. Especially since he liked Elle a lot.

But Elle already knew that, she knew the eyes of someone who liked her, she saw them almost everyday. Scott McCall had been officially played by Elle Waldorf.
