ELLE WASN'T SURE what to do. She had been threatening Stilinski since he accused her of being the Darach and she had been deceiving Scott for as long as she knew him. But that was all separate before and now the whole group was together and she wasn't sure how to act.

Of course she would have to continue her sweet, protective persona because of Scott's company but Stilinski... there was something about him that Elle knew he wouldn't let go; he wouldn't not believe she was Darach until he was proved otherwise.

And that made Elle Waldorf determined. She was determined to find the real Darach and clear her name from the freak McCall pack so she could go on with her life without any connections to the outside world. And she could continue to hide from them.

The things that had been chasing her for years, the same things that threatened her very existence even now found a way to ruin her. And that terrified Elle, luckily for her, nobody noticed.

The whole group sat on the school bus, Elle purposefully taking the only available seat next to Scott.

"Are you sure you're alright?" Elle asked Scott again, her indigo eyes glancing nervously at his sewn up wound despite it being covered by his new t-shirt.

Scott chuckled and smiled at her caring attitude, "I'm fine, I promise."

She let out a long breath of relief that would soon turn to anxiety again once she hadn't asked him for a while.

"How're you doing?" Scott asked gently, placing a hand over her arm which rested on the top of her knees that were tucked under her chin.

"I'm fine, I guess this whole situation is a little weird, but I'm fine." Elle managed for an answer but Scott saw straight through it.

"You know my mom always said, when someone says they're fine, then they're anything but." He said wisely making Elle smile from behind her knees. "Why do you keep looking over your shoulder, Elle?"

She froze, not moving for a moment until she let a smile grace her lips, returning to her fake happy self, "I'm fi-, I'm alright, Scott." She corrected herself, completely brushing off the question that made her show a glimpse of her vulnerable state to Scott.

"I know you're lying, so if you ever need to talk about it, I'm here. I won't push you." Scott told her kindly and Elle smiled a genuine smile.

Scott couldn't help but smile himself once he saw the beautiful smile that was left on Elle's lips. It was like every other smile in the world wasn't worth recognition now that he had seen hers.
