004 " miscommunication "

To say that McCall was conflicted was a misunderstanding. He was utterly at battle with himself. He didn't know who to believe, his best friend of his entire life or a girl he'd never talked to but almost got killed last night.

"It's Elle. Elle Waldorf, she's the murderer." Stiles tried again but Scott butted in,

"No, she's not."

"Lydia said she saw her, in the pool, with a tail. Okay Scott, a fishtail!" Stiles screamed, throwing his arms around spastically.

"What? And this all supposedly happened while she was at the school and almost killed by Cora?" Scott asked rhetorically, walking away before Stiles answer the good point he had made.

"Okay, maybe that doesn't add up, but I will prove it to you, Scott!" The human yelled after his best friend.

"Madame Waldorf, quelle est la date de ton anniversaire?"

Elle woke with a jerk, and turned to the French teacher who stood in front of her desk expectantly, "Pardon, répétér s'il vous plaît," she requested in fluent French. This class was completely pointless for Elle, she was fluent in every language ever, she was born from the sea and had become accustomed with every language known to man.

"Quelle est la date de ton anniversaire?" The teacher repeated growing agitated by Elle's lack of an answer,

"Mon anniversaire est quatorze Novembre, et toi?" The teacher had no time to answer due to the bell ringing, signifying the end of the class.

"Au revoire, le class." The teacher waved them goodbye until Elle stood by the door. "Detention, Miss Waldorf, I don't appreciate students not paying attention in my classes."

The siren nodded, plastering a fake smile on her face before walking out the door. But she didn't get very far.

Suddenly an arm shot out from a classroom door and yanked her into the room. Elle turned in shock to see Stilinski glaring at her.

"Okay, I don't know what mermaid powers you have that let you be in two places at the same time, and you may have Scott fooled but Lydia and I know that you killed that lifeguard. So why did you do it, why'd you kill all the sacrifices?" Stilinski demanded her.

"Siren. Not mermaid. And I didn't kill anyone but just know that I could, so be very careful what you say to me." Elle warned him,
