*real life*

liam was mindlessly scrolling through his twitter feed, when he saw a tweet that caught his eye. weirdly, his heart seemed to do a flip when he spotted theo's name.

he first read the tweet and then scrolled down a few paces when the words finally registered. quickly, he scrolled back up to re-read the words. when liam read the words, "all heroes please apply," he felt that he was obligated to help. unbeknownst to him, it was for a completely different reason than just wanting to be a good friend.

he threw on a random hoodie and his black vans and snuck outside. nothing else went through his mind as he started up his car and drove to theo's house.

he honestly didn't even know how he knew how to get to theo's house. he'd never been there, but some part of him found itself there.

the driveway was empty of cars when he pulled in. it didn't seem like any lights were on in the house either, but still he walked to the front door.

when he first rung the doorbell, no one answered, but sure that he could hear a familiar heartbeat he rang again.

"theo?," he spoke, "its liam."

finally, faint footsteps could be heard walking through the house. the door opened and standing there was a bruised and battered theo.

"oh my god, theo, what happened?"

theo let out a sob and fell into liam's arms. liam stepped inside and closed the door, theo still clinging to him. they slumped down to the floor and liam cradled him until he spoke.

"i-i can't do this anymore, liam."

"what do you mean? did gabe do this to you?"

liam was angry and theo could sense it.

"y-yes... he tells me he loves me so i stay with him, but i don't know if i can make it any longer."

"i'm going to kill that asshole. no one who actually loves someone would ever hurt them, theo, you have to leave him."

"he would just hurt me, i can't."

liam shook his head and pulled theo even closer.

"you deserve someone so much better. i can help you break up with gabe, if you'd like."

"yeah, i'd like that. thank you."

"you're welcome."

theo tilted his head up to look at the other boy and wiped away some stray tears.

"i don't only mean for the offer, but for actually being here. for coming to my rescue."

"it's really not that big of a deal, theo."

"it is to me. gabe would never do this, maybe at first but not now.!it means a lot that you were the one who did. so thank you. thank you for being my hero."

both of the boys stayed silent, resting against the door. liam noticed that theo's breathing had slowed and his tears had halted. liam didn't know how long they were like that, the two of them sitting together, but at some point theo started to doze off.

as theo fell asleep in liam's arms, something dawned on liam. no wonder the pack always acted weird when he would talk about theo or why it made him surprisingly happy when he read his friends "THIAM" comments. he loves theo. he has loved theo for a long time, but he constantly lied to himself because he was ashamed of his sexuality. not that he had any reason to be ashamed, he had just always thought that he was straight.

"i love you," he whispered, thinking theo was asleep.

he picked the boy up and found his way to his bedroom, setting him down on the bed. after he took off his shoes, he joined theo in bed. pulling him close, he fell asleep.

theo smiled softly and whispered, "i love you too."

okay, here it is! this chapter i had planned for a while, although idk how well it turned out. buuuut i hope that it didn't suck too bad and you enjoyed it!

this book has gone in a somewhat different direction than i had originally planned, but i actually like it this way. hopefully you do too!

teen wolf is not on tonight and i'm so fucking sad. i still can't believe that it actually ended. i think i'm just gonna sit on my couch wearing my lahey hoodie, crying and eating ice cream, while staring at the black tv screen. but ITS FINE.
