Amilie's POV
"Amilie.. Amilie, wake up milady." I wake up to the strong but arousing smell of Sebastian. His voice soothes me causing my eyes to slowly open up. He stands beside my bed and hovers over slightly checking if Ive awoken. I smile sheepishly and slowly rise from my pillow.
"Good morning, Sebastian." I rub my eyes as the dark handsome butler watches. I stop and tilt my head at him. "What are you staring at?" I say softly. He chuckles as he gives me a closed eye smile. "You simply look adorable with your hair in a mess and your clothes riled up." I feel myself blushing as I toss my legs onto the floor and make my way to the bathroom. He comes up behind me and stops me by holding my waist. He places his head at the nape of my neck sends shivers throughout my body. He takes a deep breath then pulls away. "Sebastian wha-"
"Shhhh.. " He pecks my neck slowly. I bite my lip wishing for more but hoping to resist. Sadly he pulls away and walks towards the door. "Get dress Amilie, breakfast will be served shortly. He exits leaving silence in his place. I change into a dress and place on my stockings and shoes. I look into my drawers and find some suitable black gloves. I smile at myself and rush out to the dining room. I stop at the door to compose myself and walk gracefully into the room. The earl sits at his place and eats his food quietly in peace. He looks up when he notices my presence. Smiling, I greet him.
"Good morning, Ciel." He cocked an eyebrow then focuses back on his meal.
"Morning, Lady Amilie." I sit to the seat to his left and continue to smile. The events of the previous night played in my mind. I couldn't hide my... Breathe Amilie, just breathe.
You going to be alright, milady? I gasped then covered my mouth. Sebastian placed my plate in front of me. "Sebastian you startled me." I said in a stern tone. In my mind..
Sebastian.. I'm still very sensitive to this telepathic connection. It isn't safe to do it in front of Ciel!
"My apologies for startling you, Amilie." He said as he worked behind Ciel and winked at me. I rolled my eyes and kept myself from smiling. I began to eat my meal and cautiously made sure not to pay so much attention to Sebastian. I wasn't sure when he was going to tell Ciel about us. I'm not sure I'm ready for an us. Now I'm skeptical. When did my life suddenly focus around him.. What was it that connected us together? Yes I thought the demon was delivish handsome and he was one hell of a butler... But I know nothing of the demon. As an angel, we're enemies but this bond made us more. How could I be sure this is really maybe something could go very wrong and very fast. While eating as well as overthinking, I heard a soft old sound... "Huh?"
I turn to my side to see a short chibi looking old man on a pillow in the corner of the room...?
"Ehh?" I blink slowly at the small man who accompanied us. Is he a servant too...? Where has he been?? Haven't I seen him before? He wore a similar uniform to Sebastian. I rose a brow and excused myself from the table. I made my way to the old man and stood in front of him and smiled brightly.
"Hello sir. I'm Amilie Grey. I apologize for only introducing myself now but I haven't been able to greet you before .. I have been here only a short amount of time. I'm pleased to have met you now." I looked to the side where I saw Ciel blushing and Sebastian admiring. Following my gaze back to the old man, steam began to exit the man. "Sir?" My eye widened as I stepped back. The small chibi man transformed into a tall healthy looking old man in his 50s. I stood up straight as he smiled at me.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Lady Amilie. I am Tanaka, the steward of the phantomhive manor. I apologize for being absent in present around you but my body does not withstand more than about an hour each week. I am glad I was able to introduce myself to you now." He grabs my gloved right hand and kisses it softly. "I will take my leave now. Much work to be done." Tanaka walks out of the dining room. I return to my seat when I heard sort of a popping sounding coming from the room next door.
"Now he's back to his old self." Ciel says as he rises from the table. "It rare to see him up and about." Sebastian follows Ciel out of the dining room until Ciel stops at the door as I stand.
"I dont have anything important for you today, Amilie. You are free for the day." I smile at him as his back is towards me but I can feel him smile as well. I sighed as I made my feet roam as they wished. I never expected to be free today. I went around the mansion but couldn't find anything that would entertain my fixated mind. The library even though filled with many books and stories, it didn't seem interesting at the moment. The garden felt boring to look at oddly. My room wasn't an option since I only go in there to dress, bath and sleep. I would go into the kitchen to bake something up but.. Bardroy probably flamed it up like he usually does at this hour. Walking mindlessly, I found myself in a familiar hallway. An abandoned one at that. The walls were cold and empty. No windows shone on this side of the mansion. I lead myself to the door I only entered once. Not even a day ago to be exact.
I slowly open the door hearing the creaking of the hinges. This room was hardly ever used. Entering Sebastian's room, I found that the room was empty. My curiosity perked and I went towards the closet. I found that the kittens were no longer there. I huffed and sat on the bed that was unused. But it smelled of the demon whom which made my soul sing. I layed my body across the bed as I was sent deep in my thoughts. I figured why I was very bored. Sebastian was within my mind and soul. The places he had showed and spent time with me felt uncomfortable without him. I chuckled to myself. I felt foolish for being so needy. But it wasn't questionable why.. I never had the forever love from my parents. I was tortured for several years by a disgusting and unpatriotic man. Then I spent a decade with the universes most insane beings except for the select few. All these memories flooded my head. In which led me into a deep sleep.
I layed on a large comfortable royal blue colored bed which was the opposite of what I was just in. "What?" I sat up and noticed my dress was now pure black. The room had no windows but was dimly lit. Around the room was the Faustian symbol... Same as the one on Sebastian's hand. The walls glowed crimson. Unlike my recent encounter with an odd room, this one seemed better. I felt safe. "Sebastian.." I whispered out loud. I looked around then saw Sebastian seated on the edge of the bed with his legs crossed. I slowly walked towards him. He stood up and looked down at me, smiling.
"Why do I feel like this is right? Isn't this just a dream??" I said as I placed my gloved hand on his cheek. He was was stunning and a sight to stare at. He glazed back at me as his cherry eyes brightened.
"This is our secret place where only you and I can disappear to. Its what binds us closer. Wherever you may be, when you need me you can come here. Time stands still here. No one else exist. Only you and I."
I couldn't help but smile as he spoke so smoothly. "You may ask for whatever you wish, my dear. And it shall be yours." Something lingered so heavily that I wanted. Something only the one that holds my soul may have.
"Sebastian... " I said in a hushed tone.
"Yes milady?"
"I'm ready."
"Very well."A/N
