You What?! (Hiatus)

I heard knocking coming from the driver's side of the car and when I looked I was greeted with Ming waving through the glass. He was with a smaller, cuter brunette boy, who was currently occupying himself with looking at his phone with a bothered expression.

"Ming Kwan, what a lovely surprise. Good morning to you", he said with his usual charm before turning to the brunette. "And who are you, young man", he said flirting with the surprised brunette, but after a few seconds Ming swept into scene separating them and I would be lying if I said I wasn't thankful.

"P'Kit Kat do not get mad at my teacher here as I'm sure he and my professor have better things to do", he said dragging the brunette off and waving goodbye to us.

"I didn't even get to say hi", I said looking at the floor while actually realizing that I hadn't greeted my student, but then I surprised myself by saying, "don't flirt with other people so easily".

"Are you jealous or something? Are you saying that I should only flirt with you?" he asked.

"No, no, not at all, but I just think you were scaring that boy, Kit Kat, with your usual antics", I blurted out, desperately trying to cover for myself and it seemed to work as he looked content as we silently walked to the college and then parted ways when I reached my class.

I entered my class, it was empty as it should be, but there was a orange post-it note left on my desk.

Whoever this person threatening me, they have the wrong impression of me, since I'm not some kind of seductress and I only had my first kiss yesterday and admittedly it was Yen. This person seemed close to Yen as they know and address him by his first name and they clearly have little respect for me.

The note scared me because as much as I'd like to laugh it off and think it was a silly prank, I couldn't because none of my students knew about my presence at the party so it could only be another teacher in the school who saw me leaving the party with Mr Yen and got the wrong idea.

I put the note aside because as shaken as I was I wouldn't allow this to prevent me from teaching my students and their education should not suffer for no real reason. I got out my lesson plans and set up the computer and interactive board up so they displayed the presentation I had prepared in advance.

The first bell of the day rang and soon students were pouring through the doors, each sitting at their assigned seat and getting their workbooks out.

"Silence! Today I will be teaching you the basics of aeronautical engineering", I said and the class settled down and began to make notes of what I was saying. I talked about the subject, sometimes going into depth.

The class was fine and the students were well behaved and overall, when the my class finished, the students started gathering their stuff and leaving in waves.

Once the very last student had left, I picked up the note again, read it and sunk to the floor.

How could I have let this happen? Someone had clearly got the wrong idea about him and I. How would my students react to me if they found I was dating another man? Would they still respect me? Would I have to leave my job? I like this job more than any other job, I don't want to leave. What if Yen gets hurt? What if I get hurt? I don't want either of those things to happen.

I was so absorbed in my thoughts I hadn't realized Mr Yen had just come in the room. By the time I realized he had come in, he was only a couple of metres away from me.

"Why are you crying?" he was approaching me slowly and cautiously.

I touched my cheek and sure enough there was currently a tear rolling slowly down the surface of my face. "You wouldn't care so you don't need to know. You shouldn't be here so what are you doing here?" I said defensively, standing up.

"I need some A4 squared paper for my next class, but then I found you here crying", he said looking genuinely concerned.

"It's in the top draw in the storage cupboard", I pointed after wiping my eyes as respectably as possible and regaining my composure. "Take it and go back to the laboratories", I said rather harshly without intention and he got the paper and left.

I decided from that moment onwards that I would avoid and not see him ever again.

"Can I borrow a stapler?" I heard a male voice say.

"Well shoot" I thought.

"Well I've never heard someone so displeased to see me", he stated and I stared at him in confusion.

"Wait?! Did I just say though aloud?" I said and he nodded.

"I'll just take this and go then", he grabbed the stapler and quickly paced out of the classroom.

The rest of the day was fairly uneventful, other than I had quite literally run into Mr Yen twice by accident.

Once in the corridor, I was busy looking down and hurrying to the staff room to meet up with Sung and since I was not looking where I was going I crashed into him, well more the other way around. Somehow I ended up underneath him with his face too close to mine. I scrambled back as much as possible and started to collect my stuff as quickly as possible and hurried to the staffroom, hoping no one had seen that.

The other encounter was in the library where I was trying to reach a book in the library and instead of the normal scenario where the taller one would get the book, be kind and hand it to someone shorter like me, but no, he couldn't just be simple. He picked me up by the waist and lifted me until I could reach the book. The worse part is that when he was putting me down, my shirt had ridden up slightly, exposing some of my stomach. "Are you trying to seduce me?" he had the nerve to say and I had to struggle my way out of his grasp and then I dashed off to the checkpoint to withdraw the book.

I could only hope that I didn't bump into him again for at least the rest of the day and since I don't think I could handle anymore his flirtatious actions for one day.

I keep getting distracted and I ended up watching 'Sotus' and I love Kongbop×Arthit and a more low-key ship, Prem×Wad!
