We walked together toward Emerald City. When we reached the gate, we stopped because tall guards called winkies were there. China Girl began to shiver and I imitated her.
The winkies looked at the Wizard very carefully but decided to open the gates. We went through the gate and the Wizard sighed in relief. The city was green, all of it. Even the roads. I tried to hide in the cloth to avoid attention. A green shimmering palace stood in the heart of the city. We all took a deep breath and the Lion knocked.
"WHY DID YOU KNOCK?" I whispered to the Lion. A munchkin was standing on the floor and his face showed anger. He looked like Knuck and I thought that the Wizard knew that too.
"Who are you?" The munchkin questioned.
"Um. We're evil souls sent by the witch. She said we can conquer worlds together." I trembled and the Lion roared to show how fierce he is.
"Come in but never call her witch." The munchkin said. This time, we all sighed silently.
We saw an emerald staircase and China Girl was amazed. The munchkin was observing us as we took ten steps to reach the end of the staircase.
There were two more staircases and we became exhausted after taking all of them. We saw a green door and we hoped that Evanora is not inside. The Wizard opened the door and Evanora wasn't there. Sadly, her emerald necklace wasn't there too.
