I showed the Wizard the dead body and he dropped Glinda on the floor gently.

The dead witch wore a black lace dress matching her wavy dark brown hair. For her foot, she wore black heels. Her skin was really pale.

"What can we do now?" I asked. "Oh, I know!" The Wizard looked at me.

"Kiss her. True love is the only way, right?" I dared. He neared his face to Glinda's face and their lips touched and pressed to each other. I eyed in different directions and avoided their kiss. I'm not used to see people kiss these days. Besides, I'm only twelve years old.

The Wizard finally stopped their moment and we waited for Glinda to open her eyes. Nothing. Nothing happened.

"I-it didn't work." I voiced and looked down on the floor. Then I saw my shoes having a brighter color than before. That's it! My shoes are magical! It might work!

I quickly took off my shoes and Glinda's shoes and I placed my shoes on her feet. The Wizard looked at me in a strange and weird way. After a few seconds, Glinda finally opened her eyes.

"Glinda! You're back!" The Wizard was happy to see her. Suddenly, the magical shoes faded as the Wizard helped Glinda stand up. The Wizard didn't notice and he just put Glinda's shoes back to her feet.

She stood up and looked at us. "Thank you Amelia and Wizard." She thanked. "But where are your shoes?"
