After swearing off boys as a junior in high school, nineteen year old Audrey Blake still doesn't want a boyfriend.
Window shopping is okay if course, but then she remembers what a terrible species boys are and loses interest rather quickly.
Jack Rosenn won genetic lottery as a baby. Sure he's attractive and intrigues Audrey (which is always a good thing seeing as you don't want a boring boy to fall for), but he's still part of that ignorant species and those are really out of the question for Audrey.
She wouldn't define him as a terrible person per se, but he seems to her like a very easy person to fall in love with.
Jack almost reminds her of a scolding hot coffee. She needs to take slow sips before going all in and finishing her cup, only to be disappointed by the bitter taste of the beverage.
