"Fuck!"

"I told you it was hot, what did you expect?"

"I c-cooled it."

"Obviously not enough." The girl muttered.

Bill shot her a look, making sure that she knew he'd heard her. Juliet laughed at his expression and took the bowl of soup from his hands.

"Give it a minute before you murder all of your tastebuds." She set the bowl on the table.

Seeing the 'I'm going to sneeze look on his face, she also quickly handed him a tissue. She scrunched up her nose in disgust as he did and layed back down on his bed.

"You sh-shouldn't be here y'know. I'm gonna get y-you sick." Bill states after adding the tissue into the growing pile in his trash bin.

"I have an amazing immune system, B. There's better chances of you getting a girlfriend than me getting sick." She replied with a smirk on her face.

With a hot blush slowly painting his cheeks, he reached over and gave the girl a playful shove. "Sh-Shut up, J."

Gripping onto his covers to steady herself, Juliet started laughing at her own joke. Soon Bill couldn't help but join in.

But then the laughter died down and they were left with nothing but wide smiles on their faces as they stared into each other's eyes. Green blended with hazel as they focused on nothing but each other, lost in that moment of-

"Are you guys having a staring contest?"

The two turned their attention from each other to the child standing by the door. There stood Bill's little brother, Georgie, with a wide smile and innocent look in his eyes.

"Yeah, w-we were." Bill quickly covered up. He placed his hand in front of Juliet's face and snapped his fingers, successfully making her blink. "I win."

"You filthy cheater." Juliet gasped, smacking his hand away. Her competitive side took over, making her momentarily forget that they hadn't actually been having a contest.

Bill simply shrugged, turning back to the boy who was now entering the room. "What's up G-Georgie?"

"Well... it sure is raining a lot out, with so much water piling up too." Georgie stated quietly, looking towards the window where the soft pattering of the rain could be heard from inside. "Sure would be a shame if it all just... went to waste."

The boy ended his statement with a long and disappointed sigh. He hung his head low but his glance sneakily went back up to the two teenagers, hoping they would catch on.
