Chapter 4

Cameron's POV
"Why is that chick still here, have you even told her what you do or have you told Armani?" Jason my best friend asked walking into my room.

"One, she lost her memory because of me so she doesn't have anywhere to go, second, i can't tell her want i do and lastly, i can't tell Armani." I said facing him.
 
Armani is the leader of gang leaders all over the country. His gang consist of me and other gang leaders. He gives us different types of mission and sometimes he can very brutal especially when provoked.

"And it's not like she's joining our gang so why should i tell her" i said snatching the bag of chips from his hands.

"Hey! That was mine " He yelled snatching it back.

"Technically this is my house, so it's mine" I said snatching it from him.

We continued snatching the bag of chips from each other's hands until pieces of chips were flying all over the room.

"Look what you did!" We yelled simultaneously at each other.

"You mean what you did" we both yelled again.

"Stop copying me!" We both yelled again. Then we started laughing and we both left the room since we know none of us will do it.

"Good morning". I was surprised to see her in the kitchen already.

"You're up early, how was your night?" I asked pouring myself a coffee.

"N-nice" she stuttered. I wanted to ask her again but Jason walked in.

"Hey beautiful, the name's Knight, Jason Knight" he said smoothly kissing the back of her hand. She just giggled.

"You're a hole, an asshole" i mimicked him.

"Well i wasn't ' to you, talking to you" he replied and she giggled again.

"That doesn't even make sense you dumbass" i said chuckling and he stuck his tongue out at me like the real 'mature' person he is. 'Note the sarcasm'.

"Well the name is I can't remember my last name, Chloe I can't remember my last name" she said smiling at him.

"Now that's what a funny joke sounds like and by the way, when did you get your memory back?" I asked her.

"Well i didn't get all of it i just remember some details about my self but i still don't know anything about my family and where we lived"

"Oh, okay" just then i got a message from Armani.

Armani: There is a meeting in the headquarters meet me there now!

I rolled my eyes at the message but still got up any way.

"What's wrong?" Jason asked suddenly.

"Work stuff" I said to him knowing that he would understand what i meant by that but knowing my dumbass friend, he'll be slow to understand what i meant and i was write when he replied.

"Work stuff ? You don't even have a- oh you mean 'work stuff' yeah i got you" I just rolled my eyes at his stupidity.

"Take care of Chloe and don't do anything stupid"

"When have i ever done anything stupid?"

"Last year you followed me to one of my missions and got kidnapped, six month ago you followed me to the head quarters and you got shot, last month..."

"It's okay i get it but to be fair I'll have a lot of fun stories to tell my grand kids" he said smiling to himself.

"You're seriously unbelievable"

"I'm also sexy, rich, intelligent and amazing but you don't see me shouting it" he said smugly.

"Fuck you"

" Bro i know I'm hot but I'm straight as a pole"

"I hate you"

"You love me" he sang.
"So good bye girlfriend" he said in a high pitch voice throwing air kisses at me.

"Ew".

The meeting with Armani went by really quickly with new missions coming up, training our gang members, getting new arms and stuff and he gave me a special assignments to go check on the new gangs.

"Welcome back sir" one of the housekeeper said to me and i gave a small nod.

I walked into the house expecting to meet Jason or Chloe but was surprisingly met with silence and when i say silence i mean deafening silence. Where are they i thought to myself. Just a giggle erupted from the garden and in all curiosity, i went to check it out and i was a little shocked to find Chloe laughing at something Jason said. Wow she's already friends with him?

"Hey guys" that made then snap their heads towards my direction.

"How was 'work stuff '?" Jason asked winking 'subtly' at me.

"Same old. How was your day cos you guys seem to be having a lot of fun, you didn't even see me walk in" I said a little harsher than I intended.

"Relax man. You told me to take care of her and that was what i was doing" he said and from the corner of my eyes i could see that she wasn't comfortable.

"I'm sorry, I'm just stressed a little that all" i said massaging my temples with the tip of my fingers.

"Go take a shower" Jason shoved me to the door.

I just laid in bed thinking about Cathy when I got a call from my brother.

"What?"

"Well that is no way to answer a phone call dear brother"

"Just get to the fucking point" I sighed in frustration.

"Well it's about Cathy"

He sang like the idiot he is. On hearing that I became attentive and chose my words carefully.

"What about Cathy?"

"We got a new location of where she could be"

Eric is not really part of the gang but he's a computer genius so he works for us especially to track down enemies and he has be looking for ways to track Cathy and her kidnappers for years and every year my heart still breaks that since I'm not sure if she's dead or alive, that's what crushes me the most.

"Thanks for the update. Bye"

With that, i ended the call and took out her photograph from the night stand and kissed it.

"I miss you dear sister" and i got consumed by sleep.

I finally updated. Yay!!!
