It's been a week since I last talked to Issa. I feel like he's been ignoring me or something. Now normally we have classes together and Friday especially is when I see him a lot since the whole afternoon is spent at art class. Well, like I said it's been a week and I hate to admit this, but I kinda miss him.
"What's your deal? " I ask as I sit next to him that afternoon. " You've been ignoring me for the past week and today during lunch you didn't wanna hang out with me and my friends."
" I don't like your friends and you've been so busy with them to notice me anyway so it's whatever. Have fun with your new friends." he spoke. He actually spoke to me. I can't believe he did, and in a full long sentence. But wait, he sounded irritated.
" Are you mad at me or something?"
" No. I'm trying to work now if you'll excuse me..."
After that I left him alone and did my project. I was finished before I knew it and proceeded to go hang out with Kimmy and the guys after the bell rang. It was the end of school and I couldn't be more happier since mum was picking Harlem and C. J up from school. I went straight to the gym where Adrian and his friends/ teammates were practising. I hugged Kimmy upon seeing her and went ahead to sit down at the bleachers. We hang out for like one and half hours and then the team plus Adrian joined us to go to the mall. It was super fun and I was glad that my new friends liked me as much as I liked them.
" So what's your favorite color? " Andrian asked with a slight smirk on his lips. I kept staring at his lips for no reason now that I think about it.
" Huh... Would I be like totally basic if I said pink?" I said with a shrug. I didn't really care if he thought I was basic. Pink is a great color so sue me if you can...
" Nope I don't mind. I like that you like pink so yaay." he said hi fiving me. I just smiled and kept throwing glances at him once in a while.
" Hey do you maybe wanna hang out tomorrow just the two of us?" Adrian asked with a blush on his cheeks.
"Sure I mean I don't have homework so I don't see any problem with it plus I would like to hang out with you so yeah..." I mumbled that last part. We just smiled at each other and I found myself glancing at his lips again. All in all it was an afternoon well spent.
