Hannah Riola was happy when she received news that she was flying to LA to visit her grandparents on Friday. It was currently Thursday afternoon and she was trying to get her way through her period pains. All the while, she was also supposed to pack a small bag for her short visit. She had ignored Issa all of the morning and the fact that she  didn't attend school that day was eating him alive and slowly. He had resulted to going to her place after school where he found her mom. Her mom had explained that Hannah had travelled to LA to visit her grandparents even though she was still around and it was just a little white lie to keep Issa's presence off until Hannah was ready to admit her feelings for him. Her mom lied to a boy for her.  Where is the award for best mother ever again?
Issa looked heart broken and had just nodded before walking to his car and driving off. Hannah Riola came back downstairs and thanked her mom.
" You need to figure out where he stands and soon because I just broke that sweet boy's heart just now by lying to him for you. " Katie said staring at her eldest daughter.
" I will okay... I just need more time... Besides I'm your daughter and you're supposed to stick by me through anything and everything so really you had no choice but to tell a little white lie for me. " Hannah Riola said matter of factly. Her mom just laughed at her daughter's slyness and continued folding the cloth color patterns she had for her Realtor job.  Hannah Riola returned upstairs to her room where she continued to ignore Issa's calls and messages. She did talk to her friends Kimmy and Mayo and had confesed to them that she might have been confused about her feelings for Issa. After her talk to her friends it was already dinner time and so she went back downstairs where she was met by a surprise by the name of Adrian and his family.  Apparently her dad had made a last minute decision to invite Adrian's family for dinner. Hannah Riola was feeling quite defeated and honestly betrayed because she had told her dad very clearly that she had broken up with Adrian and didn't want to see him any time soon. She just sucked it up and tried to enjoy dinner with her family while completely ignoring Adrian.

The night seemed to drag and when Adrian's dad asked if they were going to prom together, it evidently became awkward. Well he didn't tell his family that they broke up she guessed. She just cleared her throat and asked to be excused which her mom permitted much to her dad's protests. She went up to her room and locked herself in and cried. It was like the wounds had opened again and salt was being poured on them. She thanked the good Lord that Adrian didn't follow her up and tried to talk to her. She slept with a heavy heart and woke up early for her flight to LA the next day. Some change,  she was convinced was going to be good. And it indeed was because upon landing, her grandparents were at the LAX gates waiting for her and her family. Her siblings were excited to spend some time from school since they had just finished there finals and that was going to be the start of there long vacation. And what better way to spend it but with there Grans and in LA. As for Hannah Riola, she had to travel back to New York Sunday morning for her finals on Monday. Then after prom she would go back to join her siblings for the rest of the long vacation. This short trip had surely put her in some sort of ZEN and she was able to think clearly on her decision to what she was going to do with the certain boy by the name of Issa.
