The sun was no where to be seen and dark clouds covered the sky. It was as if the world was sad about what happened too just like everyone else. The blonde took it hard, she barely got out of bed and she barely ate. The scene replayed in her head over and over. She knew he did it to save everyone else, it just doesn't change the fact he is gone and won't be coming back

"Stiles, you are not sacrificing yourself to save us! We will find another way, we always do!" Caitlin was angry, she wasn't happy with what Barry had just announced and she was determined to not let it come down to that.

Stiles sighed, "Caitlin, what if it's the only way? To save you guys, I'd sacrifice myself in a heartbeat."

"Nobody would volunteer to kill you. I sure wouldn't and I know everyone else in this room wouldn't either." Barry declared. The red head had made her way over to Emma, checking her heartbeat and all her vitals but she didn't dare wake the blonde up knowing she needed the rest.

"Oliver would."

"No he wouldn't." Barry snapped at Stiles. "It'll put his daughter in danger if he were to kill you. Remember, he's a pawn in this little game his father is playing and killing you would mean the game is over."

Stiles sat down in the chair that was provided next to Emma's bed, his fingers running through his brown hair and tugging at them. This was all frustrating, but when it came down to it, it was his choice no one else's. "This is my choice, Barry."

"You are not sacrificing yourself, Stiles! If you do, I will figure out a way to bring you back even if it means bringing the nogitsune back as well." Stiles snapped his head up to look at Barry and noticed how furious he really was. His nostrils were flaring, his eyes were narrowed and Stiles' face twisted into a grimace.

"Yeah, and why do you suddenly care? You were all up for it not too long ago. You wanted me dead, Barry."

"No, I wanted him dead, not you. Huge difference."

Caitlin finally spoke up, forcing the two boys to be quiet and she continued to listen to Emma's heartbeat. It was speeding up to the normal pace and she sighed in relief, pulling away and taking off the stethoscope and writing down what the vital was. "Her heartbeat is getting back to normal. She's gonna be okay."

Footsteps pounded against the floor and in came Cisco running in. He had food in one hand and his keys in the other. "I heard she's gonna be okay and I came running in as fast as I could." the other three laughed lightly at Cisco, their hearts lifting a bit.

Emma could only hope he would come back. She heard their conversation, she heard the determination Stiles had in his voice and she was scared he'd go through with it. She was terrified.

Not too long after Cisco came, the blonde was beginning to wake up and Stiles and Barry took their conversation into another room.

"Look, Barry, you are a hero. You sacrifice yourself every day. You don't have to, but you do. I want to do this. I want this to be how my story ends." Stiles was leaned up against the counter, arms crossed and his eyes were staring at Barry waiting for his reaction.

Barry clenched his jaw, "Stiles, this is different. This is your life. You have so many people who love you."

"Barry, so do you and yet you go around Central City risking your life to save everyone. Let this be my turn."

"What about Emma and you just got your dad back. You can't leave them." Barry had sadness in his voice, and Stiles' heart clenched. He looked down at the floor in shame but he knew what he wanted to do.
