This is Halloween story number 1. It's more of an urban legend though. The legend is from Japan, so that's nice. Anyhow onto the story!
Kuchisake-Onna or Slit Mouth woman is a Japanese urban legend. It's about a woman whose jealous husband murdered her for infidelity, scaring her horribly.
Her ghost is said to wander around some places around Japan, usually on foggy nights. She wears a surgical mask and will go up to people and ask "Do you think I'm pretty?" To which people usually respond with "yes". She will then pull down her mask to show an ear to ear grin carved by her husband and will ask again, "How about now?" To which, someone will either say yes or no. If you say no, she will pull out a pair of scissors and kill you. If you say yes, however, she will pull out her scissors and cut the same smile into your mouth.
Now, there are ways to confuse her and prevent this fate from happening to you. When she asks you if you think she is beautiful, you can always say she is average. If that doesn't work, you can present her with amber candy, to which she will gladly take and leave you be. You can say "Pomade" six times and she will flee. You can ask her if you are beautiful which will hopefully confuse her long enough for you to escape. Be careful though, for it is said that she is very fast and unlikely to be stopped.
Well there y'all go! First scary story up! If you have any reccomendations for stories to be added here, feel free to comment them and I'll add them. I'll add some conspiracies too, so if you have some of them, comment them too! So that's all for now, maybe I'll add another story tonight, or a conspiracy theory.. If I don't, then I'll add them tomorrow! Well that's all now, stay spoopy my frens.
