You were extreamly confused at this point. Underground? What was this thing talking about? First, you we're running away from a man trying to kidnap you, climbed a mountain, fell down a hole, passed out, woke up who knows how long later, got a splitting headache, then met this weird catdog that can talk. Either this was a dream, or you were going crazy.
Suddenly, everything went black and white, and a (F/C) soul came out of your chest and appeared in front of you.
"See dAt?! DaT is yOur SOUL. ThE vErY cUlmInAtiOn of yOuR bEiNg!! YoUr SOUL stArTs off wEAk, bUt cAn gRoW sTrOnGer if yOu gAin a lOt oF lv." Temmie said. "Ummm... what's lv?" You asked. "WhY, LOVE oF cOuRs3!! AnD sInCe hUumAn iS SUCH a cUtie, TeM wIll sHaRe LOVE wIth U!!" Temmie said. Then, what looked like little bullets, surrounded your SOUL. "I sHarE LOVE thrOuGh TeMmiE FlAkeS!!! Be sUrE tO eAt dEm aLl!!!" The 'Temmie flakes' then started flying twards your SOUL. You then dodged them for two reasons. 1, it was out of instinct, and 2, you didn't trust strangers. Temmie's happy expression turned into more of a frown. "YoU mIssEd dEm! TrY aGaIn!" Temmie encouraged. You dodged again, feeling like you shouldn't trust Tem. "You know what's going on here, don't you?" Temmie's voice suddenly turned more demonic, and his once 'innocent' smile, turned more demonic as well. You didn't know what was going on, but after that, you definitely didn't trust him. "Well, I can't just have you running off now can I? A human SOUL is very important to a monster like me, so I guess if you won't cooperate, I'll just have to MAKE YOU!" Temmie then started laughing, and twice as many 'temmie flakes' surrounded your SOUL then before.
You were about to get hit buy them, when all of a sudden a fire ball came out of nowhere and hit Temmie. He flew out of sight, screaming and raging. "What a horrible creature, torturing such a poor, innocent youth. Ah, do not be afraid my child, for I am Asgore, caretaker of the RUINS. I come here every day to see if a human has fallen. Come, I will guide you through the RUINS." He then took your hand and led you through the ruins and taught you about puzzles.
=Time skip to Asgore's house=
Asgore, turns out, he had made you a Butterscotch and Cinnamon pie while you were exploring the RUINS. He gave you a slice, which you gladly ate. You felt as though you could trust him, he seemed like a fatherly figure to you, as he was very kind and caring. He showed you a bedroom in which you could sleep in. There were cloths in the closit, and lots of different sized shoes. You wondered why. Maybe he used to be a father...? It would explain why he treated you like you were his child. Since you were tired, and mentally drained from everything that happened, you decided to rest for a bit. The bed was quite comfy, causing you to fall asleep rather quickly...
