(Art above not by me)

You woke up getting a good rest. Your headache had gone, but you were still really sore. You sat up on the bed, and stretched a bit. You looked around to see a (surprisingly) fresh piece of pie on the floor (on a plate of course. If not, that would be gross XD). You wondered why Asgore put it there. Maybe so it would be more noticeable? Either way, you were hungry, and weren't going to let a good piece of pie go to waist.

After you ate, you decided to change your clothes (your current ones were super dirty from everything that happened), you managed to find a Striped sweater in (Favorite color or F/C) and (second favorite color or SF/C). Even though you usually wouldn't wear a stripped sweater, it was actually pretty comfy. You also found a pair of matching shorts to go with it. You then walked out of your room and into the living room, where Asgore was reading a book by the fire place. Now, as much as you didn't want to be rude, you wanted to ask Asgore if he could show you the way out of this place. You didn't want to hurt his feelings by leaving, but there had to be more to the Underground then this, right?

"Ah, good morning my child. Did you enjoy your pie?" Asgore asked, with a polite smile on his face. "Yes, it was very good thanks." You started trying to come up with ways to bring up the subject of leaving the ruins in the conversation, without sounding too rude. "Would you like some more? There's still leftovers in the kitchen," Asgore said. "Yes please!" You said. You weren't exactly hungry right now, but you wanted to have something for down the road just in case. Asgore went into the kitchen, and came out with another piece of pie. He gave it to you, and said, "would you happen to be interested in snails? I have a book about them. If you want, I could read a little of it to you." Now at this point, if you asked to leave, that would just sound selfish, so you said, "ok," hoping that maybe this could help to your advantage. "Snails grow new larger chambers of their shell as they get older, meaning that the very inside of the spiral of the shell was from when they were smaller, and the chamber that is at the opening of the shell is most recent. Snails also can have special 'doors' to their shells called operculum, which are hard circular parts that can be retracted and sealed, allowing the snail to be protected and last longer without drying out," Asgore said.

"Would you like to hear more?" He asked. "Well, it's a really good book, but, I have some questions to ask first," you said, getting a bit nervous. "And what might that be, my child?" "Well, I know that I fell into this... so called, Underground, but I'm not fully sure I understand what the Underground is exactly. Is it just the ruins, or is it bigger then that?" You asked, hoping this was a good way to start the conversation. Asgore's smile faltered a bit, and he sighed. "My child, there is a lot more to the Underground then the RUINS. But outside is a very dangerous world. Outside, some monsters capture humans. There is... something called, The Royal Guard. Their duty is to capture humans and bring them to the Queen. The reason why I came to live in the ruins, is so I could prevent the Queen from killing another human. I...I don't want you to get captured. I understand that you may not enjoy living in such a small space, as it could get boring after a while, but... wouldn't it be better then getting captured?" Asgore asked. You had to admit, he was right. But...not all monsters could be bad, right? Asgore wasn't. Something inside your SOUL told you to go, weather or not the dangers. You didn't know why, but you felt as if something important awaited you...

"I...I know you don't want me to get hurt, but not all monsters can be bad, right? Your not bad, and I'm sure that some monsters out there would want to be my friend. I know I'm asking a lot, but, I really do want to see what the outside world is like," you pleaded. Asgore's eyebrows furrowed in thought for a moment, before he suddenly stood up. "My child, there is something important I must do. Please stay here," he said. Now, you were confused. Did you say something wrong to make him leave all of a sudden? Either way, you were Determined not to give up so soon. You then followed him down into a basement. He turned around and said to you, "I mean it, stay upstairs. This will only take me a moment," he said. You continued to follow him. "This is your last chance my child. I am only trying to protect you," you could see in his eyes that he did care, but you kept following him anyways. "*sigh*, you want to know how to leave, do you not? These doors are the exit to the ruins, and lead into the rest of the Underground." He said, "I'm now going to seal them with a magic spell to separate the Underground from the RUINS." He stood in front of you, and behind him, where a pair of giant doors leading into what was the rest of the Underground. "I never ment to make you mad Asgore, please don't do this! I only wanted to know the way out. I'll come back to the RUINS and visit you, I promise. I don't want to leave permanently, but I have my right to be able to make decisions for myself," you reasoned. Asgore's eyes narrowed. "Well, if you want want to leave so badly, you must prove yourself. Prove to me that you are strong enough to leave, and I'll let you open those doors," he said.

*You entered a battle*

You have four options: Fight, Act, Item, and Mercy

*You touched the act button

*You decide to talk

*Talking doesn't do anything

Asgore then threw attacks at you, which were all fireballs. You dodged all except one, leaving a small burn on your upper arm. Asgore seemed to flinch at this, not wanting to hurt you, but the fight continued anyway.

*Since talking didn't do anything, you decided to try something else

*You touched the Mercy button

*Asgore's attacks are now getting easier to dodge

It seemed that Asgore purposely threw the fireballs in the wrong direction, making it extreamly easy to dodge.

Eventually, the fight came to an end. "My child, I will let you go, but do not come back," Asgore said. You nodded. he then hugged you goodbye. Looks like you have a whole new world waiting out there for you, and weather or not that may be a good or bad thing, your heading towards it.
