As soon as you were outside, it was snowing heavily. You had no idea why, I mean, how the heck does it snow Underground?! Whatever, you thought. There was no logic in this place. You looked at your surroundings, only to find a camera behind a bush next to the entrance to the RUINS. "Why is this here?" You muttered. You suddenly got the feeling of being watched. You shuttered, and continued down the path through the snowy woods. You soon came across a large branch. You looked up, and could see the broken part of the tree where it fell from. You shrugged, not really thinking anything of it, and continued to walk. In the distance, you could see...some sort of gate, with the bars being too wide to stop anyone from getting through. All of this was very strange to you. Then, all of a sudden, you heard a loud 'snap' behind you. You turned around to see that giant branch you saw earlier, too big for you to even lift up, was now split in half.
Your assumptions of being watched were now proven correct, and not wanting to stay a moment longer to find out who or what did that, you ran like your life depended on it. You reached the gate, and bolted right through it, only to run into something orange that suddenly appeared in front of you. You fell on your back, the wind knocked right out of you. You tried to catch your breath, and opened your eyes to see a...Skeleton?!?! He was staring down at you, and said, "Woah, I didn't mean to make you chilled to the bone kid. You looked like you jumped right out of your skin. Here, let me help you up." He reached a boney hand out to you, but instead of taking it, you backed away as far as you could. The skeleton looked down at you with pity in his eyes. "Hey, it's ok, I ain't gonna hurt you," he said, putting his hand back in his pocket.
You slowly got up, and then glared at him. "What the He*l? Your a skeleton, who just chased me, and then somehow telaported in front of me. That the Fudge?" You wrapped your arms around yourself, feeling very cold. Especially since you were now covered in snow because of that dumb skeleton. He seemed to chuckle at your response, and said, "Well, your in the Underground, where there are monsters. And monsters have magic. Does that help explain things at all?" Papyrus asked. "No," you said, clearly irritated. The tall, orange skeleton looked amused at this. "Well, since this isn't normally how I introduced myself to humans, I'll need to explain some things to you. My name's Papyrus, and I work as a sentry. I'm actually supposed to be on watch for humans right now, but I don't really care about that. Although Sans, my brother, is a human hunting fanatic. He had a large bark, but a small bite. So I wouldn't worry about him too much, he's pretty much harmless. But, if you ever try to hurt him... y o u ' l l h a v e a b a d t i m e , p a l." Papyrus's left eye (right to you), then lit up orange. You nodded, now feeling very afraid of him.
