We drove to the clinic and walked into the waiting room and checked in at the front desk. I could tell Jake was nervous we both wore our sunglasses in hopes people wouldn't recognize us. We sat down in chairs and he was holding my hand but he squeezed it so I turned to him to see what was wrong. "Jakey what's wrong ?"

"I'm just worried about the baby." He said as he put his head on my shoulder.

"The baby is fine what makes you so worried?"

"Is this safe for the baby I mean it's only 2 weeks old."

"Yes jake its fine they wouldn't be doing it if it wasn't."

"Ok"

"Feel better"

"Kinda"

"Would a kiss make you feel better?"

"It couldn't hurt." We started kissing and this women yelled at us "get a room" she snapped.

"Ms. Santos?" The nurse called. We got up and walked into the exam room. I laid down on the exam table and Jake stood next to me. "Ms. Santos I'm Dr. Kelly and i will be with you for your whole pregnancy. Do you know about how far along you are?" Dr. Kelly said as she was feeling my abdomen.

"About two weeks."

"Yes that's is right."

"I'm going to put this gel on your stomach it's gonna be cold. Lift up your shirt please." I lifted my shirt and she put the gel on in. Man she wasn't kidding when she said it was cold. She rolled the wand over my uterus until she found the baby. "Well here is your baby."

"It's so tiny." Jake said as he squeezed my had even tighter. He looked like he was about to cry. I couldn't say anything I was just looking at my baby. Wow that's growing inside of me, women are amazing.

"Would you like to take pictures home?" The doctor asked. I nodded, she handed them to me and went out of the room she said we need to make an appointment for every two weeks. I finished wiping the gel of my abdomen and sat up I just hugged Jake I loved him so much I mean he gave me this baby without him I wouldn't be here. I love him for that he gave me the greatest gift anyone could ever give me.

"What was that for" Jake asked as he helped me down from the exam table.

"Because I love you, and I just wanna day thank you."

"For?"

"Getting me pregnant and giving me the best gift ever."

"You're welcome and I should be thanking you too I mean you let me give this gift to you and carrying my baby." He said and then kissed my forehead. We walked from the front desk to the car with out being recognized and got into the car.

Then all of the sudden I got a phone call.

"Ms. Santos?"

"Yes"

"I'm sorry to tell you..."
