Blind Ignis x reader

(Y/n POV)
I woke up in a soft bed and I I couldn't remember how I got there, "Y/n you're awake?" A strong male voice said, relief in his voice, "Gladiolus? How did I get here?" I asked, noticing bandages on my s/c arms, "We found you and Ignis, you both had been hurt pretty bad," Gladiolus said, using his big hands to help me sit up, then I remembered what happened.
Ignis and I had been helping evacuate when Nilfheim ships had appeared, "What are they doing here?" I asked, gripping the handle of my sword tightly, "They must be here for the goddess," Ignis said, his hair a mess, "We have to make sure they don't reach Noct," I said, giving Ignis a worried look, "Don't worry y/n, as long as we fight together we'll be alright," Ignis said, putting a gloved hand on my cheek before kissing my forehead lightly, "I know. Let's have a day to ourselves after this," I said, looking into my boyfriend's green eyes before we started battling troops.
Gladiolus placed a hand my shoulder, before taking a shakey breathe, "Would you like me to get him?" He asked, a worried look on his face, "Is he okay?" I asked, trying to get out of the bed, "You'll see," the large male said, before leaving me alone in the room. I look around the room, looking for any signs of where we were in Altissa when I heard the door open, "Y/n? Gladio said you were awake," a British male voice said, the door opening more, "Ignis? Is that really you?" I asked, tears filling my e/c eyes, "Yes," Ignis said, taking a step into the room, as I noticed the large black glasses on his face, "Ignis... What happened?" I gasped, barely seeing the scars underneath the glasses,
"I'm blind, y/n," Ignis said, a weak smile on his face, as tears started streaming down my face.

A/n I know cliffhangers can suck sometimes, but I figured I would use it for this first chapter. More to come soom
