In my nightmares

Y/n POV
I was running away from an unknown force when I tripped over something, "What is that?" I gasped, looking behind and seeing the lifeless body of... Ignis. I crawled over to him, "Ignis... Wake up. Please, don't leave me," I begged, hot tears falling down my face as Magitech soldiers began to surround us, "Can't you leave us alone!" I yelled, magic surrounding us and knocking the soldiers down, "Please Ignis... Don't leave me," I begged, cradling his head in my hands.

Ignis POV
I felt y/n thrashing in the bed next to me, "Y/n, are you alright?" I asked, reaching over to her shoulder as I realized she was asleep, "Leave us alone!" She yelled as I felt a fist hit my chest, "Y/n! Wake up! It's okay," I said, shaking her awake, "Ignis... You're ok," She said, her voice shaking as I felt her shakily place a hand on my cheek, "It's okay. I'm right here, I promise," I said, wrapping her in my arms as she began sobbing, "You died and I was all alone and..." Y/n said, taking shakey breathes as I felt sobs rack her small frame, "It's okay, nothing will happen to me I will never leave you," I said, holding her close to me as she cried herself to sleep.
