Blind yet still smiling (FFXV Ignis)

Shower daze

(Y/n POV)
I grabbed a towel for myself as I headed into the bathroom, but I almost forgot about Ignis joining me, "Y/n a little help please?" Ignis asked, trying to feel his way into the bathroom, "Sorry Ignis I almost forgot," I said, grabbing his hand and leading him into the bathroom as I grabbed another towel. I quickly shut the door behind him and started removing my f/c shirt and dropping it on the floor, "Ignis? Do you need some help?" I asked, removing the remainder of my clothes and wrapping a towel around me, "If you don't mind," He replied, pulling his jacket off and trying to unbutton his shirt, "Of course," I said, walking over to him and helping remove his shirt. Then I saw the dark scars that marked his shoulder and chest, "Ignis..." I gasped, my hand coming to my mouth, "Maybe this was a bad idea," he said, trying to cover himself, "No. It's fine," I said, placing my hand gently on his cheek, before I began helping him remove the rest of his clothes, but when it came to his boxers I turned around so as to give him some privacy, "Alright, you can look," Ignis said as I saw he had wrapped a towel around his lower half, "Here, I hope the water isn't too warm," I said, helping him into the shower. (The shower has a seat in it.) I grabbed the shower head and started getting my hair wet, before I proceeded to get Ignis's hair wet, "That feels so good," Ignis said, the warm water running down his scarred face, "It's not to hot is it?" I asked, making sure I got his hair completely wet, "Not at all. It's feels like heaven," He said, relaxing as I started rinsing the soap out of my hair before I put some shampoo in his light brown hair, "Can you rub it in for me?" He asked, before I began to massage it into his scalp, "How does this feel?" I asked, finishing up, "It feels absolutely wonderful," He sighed, leaning into my hands. I rinsed it out, a smile on my face before I grabbed a bar of soap and began to scrub myself, "Y/n, that smells wonderful," He said, sniffing the aroma from the soap, "It does smell nice," I said, rinsing myself off as I started helping Ignis rinse off.

When I turned the water off I helped Ignis get out of the shower and grabbed his some clothes to change into as I began getting dressed, "Y/n..." Ignis said, wrapping his arms around my bare stomach, "Ignis... What are you doing?" I asked, feeling confused, "I'm so sorry... I don't deserve someone as wonderful as you," Ignis said as I felt him fall to the floor, "Ignis... Don't say something like that! I love you and I want to help you," I said, grabbing his head in my gentle hands, "But," he started as I silenced him with a gentle kiss, "Shhhh. It's okay, I'll always be here," I said, wrapping my arms around him as his body became racked with sobs.

A/n Didn't do a lemon this time because I had this idea for a gentle scene. I will do one in the future I just don't know when I'll introduce it.
