Tala Allonia is the princess of the empire called Cydros. Her father is a great king, but there empire is falling into hard times.

But soon an offer was made by a neighboring kingdom. And the King and Queen excepted the offer.

Tala's point of view:

"Princess Tala! Your Father and Mother request your presence in the throne room." My servant said knocking on my door.

"I'll be there in a minute!" I yelled. I looked at my dress to make sure it was clean.

Throne room: (Regular point of view)

"Mother! Father! You summoned for me?" Tala said with a huge smile. As she slightly swayed.

"Yes. Have you heard of the kingdom of Uruk? " father asked her.

"Yes Father I have. Isn't it the neighboring kingdom?" Tala asked raising an eyebrow.

"Tala, the king of Uruk is looking for a wife of royal blood. And in turn he will protect our kingdom and trade with it." mother said in a calm royal voice.

"Wait... no, your not-" Tala said with horror in her eyes.

"We have arranged for you and King Gilgamesh to be married. He will be here tomorrow." Father stated.

Tala was shaking. Tears streamed down her face.

"Tala, all your life you knew that you would someday be forced to marry. In order to help your kingdom. That is a princess duty." Mother said

"And, this will help everyone in the kingdom. Tala you are very lucky that you get to marry the demi god Gilgamesh." Father said resting his head on his hand.

Tala looked down in defeat. There was no arguing with her parents. And it was her duty.

"I understand. But I cannot guarantee that I will love him. I will be miserable for the rest of my life, and it was your fault. I will marry him for my kingdom, not for you two!" Tala yelled leaving the throne room.

Tala was very upset with her parents. How could they arrange for her to get married to a man she had never met before?

She had heard tales about the Half God king. He was an arrogant, ruthless man. She hated just the sound of his name. That night she cried herself to sleep.

Next morning:

Tala awoke from the sun shining down on her. She slowly opened her eyes and squinted from the bright light.

She looked around her room and saw a beautiful outfit waiting for her.

Servants came in ready to do her hair. She looked beautiful. Ready to meet her future husband.

"Tala! Darling, are you awake? I'm coming in." Tala's mother shouted.

When she opened the door she stopped and gasped. Her daughter looked beautiful.

"Tala, you look so beautiful. Come, Gilgamesh should be here anytime. Your Father is waiting for us in the throne room."

Tala hesitantly followed. A smile never crossing her face. They both walked into the throne room.

"My dear daughter you look beautiful!" The king said holding his arms open to embrace his daughter.

She looked away sadly. She walked to the throne that was beside her mother's throne and sat down with an emotionless expression.
