"You look beautiful!" Lucy exclaimed clapping her hands together.

Tala sighed and stood up straight.

"Tala! The king is waiting for you in the dining room." Enkidu said nocking on her door.

Lucy opened the door and Tala stood behind her with a blank expression.

"Come on Tala follow me." Enkidu said with a bright smile.

Tala followed him silently. She was observing her surroundings. The palace was huge, made of beautiful stone and many paintings.

They stopped at double doors.
"Are you ready to go in?" Enkidu asked

"Do I have a choice?" She said

  "Sadly no." Enkidu said

"That's what I thought... let's get this over with." Tala said under her breath.

She opened the wide doors and the doors opened to a huge fabulous room with a huge dining table.

Gilgamesh sat at the head of the table. His head resting on his hand, while he had a devilish grin.

Tala glared at him, her green eyes piercing his red ones. She slowly sat down, never breaking eye contact.

Gilgamesh sighed "Since you haven't talked these past two days, I know nothing about you." He said playing with his fork.

"Good." Tala said under her breath.

"Mongrel! Do not talk under your breath! You should not show your king and husband that kind of disrespect!" Gilgamesh's eyes now piercing hers. His fist was clenched.

"I'm sorry my dear king forgive me for being a mongrel." Tala said rolling her eyes.

"That's my princess ~" Gilgamesh said giving her a piece of fruit.

Tala reluctantly ate out of his hand.

"Have you seen the dress you will be married in tomorrow?" Asked Gilgamesh while taking a sip of whine.

"No I have not." She said sipping some of her wine.

"Are you enjoying my kingdom?" He asked feeding her again.

"It is pleasant." Tala said resting her head in her hand.

"Why so board darling? Shall I show you around my kingdom?" Gilgamesh said sitting up.

Tala raised her eyes from her plate. "I wouldn't mind."

"Perfect!!" Gilgamesh's eye lit up as he stood.

Tala also stood up and followed him.

"Enkidu! Get my chariot!" Gilgamesh shouted, his voice echoing in the grand hallways.

"Right away." Enkidu said disappearing in the hallway.

Gilgamesh and Tala walked to the chariot. Gilgamesh stepped onto the chariot and held his hand out to her.

"Shall we go my dear?" He said with a triumphant grin.

She quietly took his hand and stood in the chariot.

They explored the colorful city, everyone was amazed at the king's future queen's beauty.

Many of the citizens were throwing flowers on them. But some whispered in the shadows "that poor maiden." "He's gonna hurt her."

Tala heard some of those whispers and immediately got nervous. She was starting to be okay with Gilgamesh.

The sun was setting. "Tala my love, the sunset is almost as beautiful as you are." Gilgamesh's red eyes traveled around her body.

   "Almost?" Tala asked

"Well I can't get a good look at you with all those clothes on." Gilgamesh said his eyes darkening.

Tala eyes widened with horror. I cant believe he almost had me fooled! He only wants to violate my body.

Tala averted her gaze as anger boiled in her face.

"I would like to go back now." She said fighting back tears.

"Of course my love." Gilgamesh said snaking his hand around her.

She was disgusted and moved away from him. Gilgamesh took notice to this and gritted his teeth in anger.

When they arrived in the palace Tala immediately ran to her room. She locked the door and tried to calm herself down.

"Princess Tala? What ever is troubling you?" Lucy asked on the other side of the door.

"I'm not marrying that man! He is deceitful and horrible! I can never trust him to be my husband!" She exclaimed while furiously whipping her tears.

"You will marry me if you like it or not! That is final! You will love me and be happy!" Gilgamesh yelled banging his fist on the door.

Tala was scared of what Gilgamesh would to her, she continued to sob.
