"Never say goodbye because saying goodbye means going away and going away means forgetting." ~Peter Pan

This is a really good song by probably doesn't fit this chapter. But it's a good song overall by the band Flip Turn (Indie Rockish). Go check them out if you want lol, just know they sound so much better in person.

"Sharpen your knives!" One of the numerous gang members yelled as he ran across the house. I looked at everyone at work, loading their backup guns, sharpening knives, wrapping their fist. It was like we were going to fight somebody.

Oh wait, they are. It's like a music or when the the greasers were getting ready to fight the Socs. It's a nerd joke, I can be a nerd at times.

"Don't forget! Do not bring out the guns unless they do it first!" Another voice said. I couldn't help but want all the brothers to stay home and let these people take care of things.

They seem to know what they are talking about.

"Is this like a big fight?" I asked Karter as he passed by. He stopped and looked down at me, suddenly remembering who I was.

"No. This is a pretty small one against this gang who's been giving us shit. Not yours." He said ruffling my hair, a few curls fell onto my face. "Everyone would be participating if we were going against the rival gang."

"Who's the rival gang?" I asked before he could walk away. My eyes glanced down at the two pistols connected to his waist.

"Your gang, why do you think they kidnapped you?" Karter said shrugging his shoulders and walked towards the other fighters. "Aim for between the chest, that'll knock the air out of their lungs."

I wonder who they meant. Who's everyone? Was this not the whole gang?

"I'm leaving!" Karter yelled, about 10 people followed him out. It amazed me how much power he held over the group. Him and Lucifer were always together, so I guess that'd make Karter, Lucifer's right hand man.

"Be safe and Karter, do not get out of that fucking car!" Lucifer yelled after him and then he turned to look at me. "You."

"Me?" I asked pointing at myself.

"Come here."

"I'm coming." I said awkwardly walking towards him.

"I want you to watch out for Matthew. Your job is to basically hide and watch out for everyone." Lucifer said handing me a small pocket knife.

"What am I suppose to do with this?" I asked confused. He laughed and shook his head.

"Fight with it. You've been in a gang rally before haven't you?" Lucifer asked looking down at my outfit and sighed. Did I not tell him?

It was a normal outfit, gym shorts and a muscle-t, it outlined my physique.

"What? No. Dean didn't want to risk me getting hurt." I said looking down with a red face. God this is so embarrassing, I'm suppose to be ghetto! Not gay.

"My fucking god. Here I was thinking you knew how to fight." Lucifer said with a sigh. "You know what, just stay home. Trey is going to stay with you."

"What! No!" Trey yelled coming up beside Lucifer, this kid just pops out of nowhere at times. "That's not fair, I'm ready!"

"No you're not. You're only 15 and we can't risk you getting hurt or kidnapped. These people work with Leo's gang." Lucifer said patting my shoulder, I looked between him and his brother. The resemblance is uncanny but what makes Lucifer have so much power over him? I've been wondering that for a while now.
