Chapter 4: Great timing

Daniels POV:

I got up and walked to my room very slowly still trying to process what had happened.

"Daniel? You in here?" I heard a knock on the door.

"Uh yeah..."

"I'm sorry for kicking you out last night" Y/N said.

I didn't reply, I just felt the anger bubbling inside of me.

"Hello? Daniel..?"

"WHAT!" I spat

"If there is a problem I can leave you know" Y/N said looking down.

"THERE IS A PROBLEM! YOU JUST KISSED MY BEST FRIEND" I shouted

Y/N POV:

He saw?! Oh god.

"It meant nothing" I said.

"It clearly did"

"If it makes you feel better, he kissed me first."

"BUT YOU KISSED HIM BACK?! I SAW YOU" he shouted.

"Daniel...I...It was a mistake."

"Get out"

"What?" I questioned.

"I said get out." He said clenching his fists.

"No, please. I'm sorry"

"GET THE FUCK OUT!"

"Yo bro chill, take it easy" Jack said running in.

"I...I..I'm sorry" Daniel said walking out.

The room fell silent and I felt a knot form in my throat as I held back the tears.

I messed up, really badly.

"Come here" Jack said opening his arms for a hug.

"No, Jack"

"I just wanna comfort you"

"Your the one who started all of this..."

"No Y/N, please"

"No Jack, I'm leaving" I said walking out the room.

"Wait, why do you care so much about him anyway? Not like you have feelings for him, right?" He said stopping me.

" I don't know jack. It's complicated"

"Your my best friend Y/N you can tell me anything!!!" He said grabbing my hands

"'Maybe some things are best untold" I said letting go of his grip.

Daniel POV:

I shouldn't have flipped out on her. I guess I was kind of unfair.

I'm such a fuckboy. I slept with her and then slept with my girlfriend after she kicked me out.

I shouldn't have texted like that when she kissed Jack, I mean after all she said it meant nothing. I should probably apologize.

Y/N POV:

Just as I got to my house, there was a knock on the door.

Daniel?

"Y/N, let me in please. I can't stand being away from you"

"Daniel, I don't know..."

"Please" I could hear him leaning on the door.

"Ok fine" I said opening the door and letting him in.

Before I could speak or even say hi his lips collide with mine.

"Woah, woah woah, slow down" I said pulling away.

"What? I thought this was what you wanted?"

"Not now" I whispered.

"What? Why? I'm sorry ok"

"Because--"

"BECAUSE WHAT?!"

"Because I'm here" my mom said walking in.
