||Chapter 12|| Unforgettable Memories

I woke up, stretching my arms. I looked over at my alarm clock, 7:30 am. I yawned walking over to Mckenna's room and woke her up.

"Mornin' McKenna, just want you to let everyone know I got a doctor's appointment, it's an hour away from here." McKenna groans, "Yeah, sure. Now let me sleep." I hugged McKenna as I grab my dress, all the gifts, my bag and left campus. I called over an Uber and waited for the driver to come to pick me up to go home.

I arrived a few hours earlier before the party started. I sighed, sitting down, playing on my phone to pass the time or until 1: 30 pm. I got dressed, and curled my hair, tying it up. I put on my makeup, grabbed the gifts and grabbed my clutch. I drove over to the boys' home, I looked over at the clock, '2:28' I arrived just in time, well thirty minutes late.

"I'm so excited, to see the boys. Be normal Y/N, stop being weird." I spoke to myself, I knocked on the door, and the door opened. I saw Jonah's face crack into a huge smile. "Y/N! Oh my gosh, it's so great to see you!" I gave him a hug, and Jonah hugged me back picking me up, by my waist.

I came into the house with Jonah leading me in. "I thought you couldn't make it?" I shook my head, "Some plans in my schedule changed so I made room." I smiled. I look at Jonah, he had a look of mischief in his eyes, "Let's surprise Daniel." We walk over to the living room as I hide behind him.

I walk behind Daniel, putting my hands over his eyes,"Guess who?" I ask excitingly, Daniel pauses for a moment, "Lauren?" I shake my head, even though I know he can't see me, "Mmh, mmh." I smile, lifting my hands from his eyes. Daniel turns and smiles, "Y/N! I missed you so much! It's been so lonely since you left." He laughed, lifting me in the air, by my waist.

"D-Daniel... Can't... B-breathe..." Daniel's smile dropped, letting me down. "Sorry." Daniel smiles sheepishly, rubbing the nape of his neck. "Let's go see where Zach is now." I nod as Daniel leads me outside, I hide on the side of the wall, till Zach's in reach. "Y/N isn't coming isn't she?" I heard the heartbreak in his voice.

I frowned. "I haven't seen her in so long, I really miss her." I peeked out from behind, the wall. I walk over to Zach and Daniel, and smile. "I missed you too, Zach." Zach laughs in surprise, "Y/N, it's really you!" Zach laughs, giving me a bear hug. "I missed you so much." he murmurs into my hair.

Both Daniel and Zach lead me over to Corbyn, walking side-by-side blocking me from Corbyn's view. "Hey, Corbyn! What's up?" Zach gives him a fist bump and does that, handshake like a guys do, where they hug and bump their fists. Corbyn laughs, "Nothing much, just chillin' what about you?" Zach shook his head, signifying that nothing new had happened. "Well, happy birthday man!"

"Thanks, I just wish Y/N was here, it's not the same." I pop out from behind the guys, "How about now? Is it the same?" I laugh giving Corbyn a bear hug, as he gives me one back. I hand him his present. "Here, I got this for you, but open it later." I smile at him, I look around. "Any chance you know where Jack went?"

"Yeah, he's pretty upset, since you said you wouldn't come. He's on the side of the compound." Corbyn frowns, I touch his arm gently, and I smile. "I'm here now, that's all that matters for now. So no worries." I walk over to where Corbyn directed me to, I look over to see Jack leaning against a wall.

"Surprise!" Jacks face lights up at the sound of my voice, I laugh as Jack pulls me into a kiss, he pins me against the wall, as I run my fingers through Jack's hair, as Jack wraps his hands around my waist. Once Jack and I pull away, I smile. "What are you doing here?" He pecks my lips, hugging me tighter.

"Well, I wouldn't miss my best friend's birthday would I?" I laugh, pecking his lips once more, before heading inside with everyone else. It was an amazing day, hanging out with the boys, no interruptions this time. It was like summer again, Christina and I were talking until my voice started to get raspy and my throat started to burn.

"Oh god, sorry." I rubbed my throat, walking into the kitchen grabbing some water to fix my sore throat. I took a sip of my drink when I felt, Jack's arms slip around my waist, as he rested his head between my neck. "Hey, baby." I felt him mumble against my skin. "Hi, babe." I drape my arms around his neck, as Jack kissed me.

I kissed him back, pulling him a little closer to me. "What do you have here?" Jack peaks over, looking into my cup. "Huh, water?" I smile a bit, "My throat hurts." Jack frowns, "Oh, baby. You okay." I nod as Jack sneaks his arms around my cup, taking a huge gulp. I smack his arm, grabbing my drink back from his grasp.

"My water, not yours. Mine." I playfully glare at him, as he grabs a cup and fills it up with root beer. "Guess you're right." He shrugs. I place his and my cup on the counter, as I wrap my arms around Jack's waist, I looked into his eyes. I saw lust dancing in his chocolate, brown eyes. "Hmm, really? Am I really?"

I gave him a peck on the lips, which turned into a full makeout session. I felt Jack smile, against my lips. I pull away, looking over at the clock, '8: 26 pm' I gasped, "Babe, it's getting late, I have to head back to campus before I get caught. I hugged Jack. "Well, that's unfortunate, well night babe. Want me to go with you?" I smile and nod.

I walk out the front door, hugging everyone, and grabbing Jack's hand pulling him with me towards my car. Jack and I get into my car as I drive to campus. I lean against my door frame, kissing him, unlocking the door and going in. I felt Jack pull my arm back, and pull me into a kiss. I leaned forward, kissing him back.

I pulled away, smiled and went inside. I walked in to see McKenna passed out on the couch, with homework spread across the coffee table, and plenty leftovers of course. What a night to remember.
