||Chapter 18|| Guilty Love

"Hey Logan, where's Mom and dad?" I asked "Oh yeah there at Jakes house." He responded "Why?" I questioned "I don't know but who cares." I nodded my head but I was still concerned "Logan...can I stay here for maybe until Christmas or longer...it's kind of awkward between the boys and I."
"Yeah sure! stay at my house and I'll deal with him." Logan said "No, let me deal with it myself. I caused it so I should fix it." He rolled his eyes. "Hey...we're family. Whatever you need I'm here to help you." I hugged him as I got ready to go to bed.

I wore my oversized Thrasher shirt and buy my hair in a messy bun and wore my glasses. "Good night Logan!" I shouted from the living room. "Are you sure you want to sleep on the couch? I can always blow up a mattress." He asked. "No it's ok...I don't want to be like Zach." He laughed. "Whatever you say." I waved at him as he walked back into the room.

"Shore!! Kong! C'mere!" I said with some dog food in my hand they come running up to me. They rested on my lap as I grabbed the wool pillow and my blanket and cuddled on the couch watching Riverdale. I slowly began to fall asleep with the laptop still on.

*Ding*

I shocked back up and looked at my phone, rubbing my eyes. "Oh god who is it now. It's 2 in the morning. Wait...I should be sleeping. ugh." I checked my phone to see how texted me and it was Daniel.

I got up and walked to Logan's room. "Hey big bro? You still up." I said walking slowly into his room. "Yeah just editing...why are you still up?" "Daniel texted me to meet up at there house. I was just gonna ask permission if I could go?" I sweetly said. "Yeah sure but be back by 6am because i don't want you staying there. At least by 4 be back or even earlier I would appreciate." He said. "Yeah not a problem." I walked out and into the bathroom with a change of clothes. Ugh.

I changed into a big sweatshirt with some jean shorts underneath but not visible. My adidas shoes my hair in a messy bun with an adidas cap and my glasses. Applied soft makeup and grabbed my purse and ran off.

I reached the boys house. All there lights were still on, and immediately I felt like crying. But I held it in as I walked up there front door.

"Uh hi." I said as Daniel opened the door. "Hey...he's in his room." All the boys were on the couch watching me walk in. "Shut up." I said even though no one was talking and I walked up the stairs. Back to where it all started, His room door. I can feel the tension building up inside me and then I had the balls to knock. "It's me. I can go or I can stay, you have 20 seconds to answer because I'm not wasting my time here."

"Ok come in." Jack said I walked in with confidence to see him standing right in front of me and Aspen laying on the bed. "What." I said crossing my arms. "Ummm first of all are you wearing pants?" Aspen questioned me "No I'm not because I would walk out of my house with no pants on because that makes f*cking sense." She rolled her eyes as I gave her a disgusting look. "Hurry up I'm tired and I want to sleep so make it fast."

He sighed "Im sorry." I quickly interrupted "Of course your sorry why wouldn't you be. Honestly I regret coming here just tell me straight up. You want to break up with me be with Aspen then come back to me." Everything stopped. "Y/n..." I sighed "Oh my f*cking God MAKE UP YOUR MIND JACK! HER OR ME?!" I shouted "I don't know." I stood up straight and walked out the door.

"Is everything ok?" Jonah asked me as I walked down the stairs. "Tell jack to stop playing with my heart. He did it once and I'm not falling for it again." I gave each of the boys...except jack...a hug because I was being generous and remind them that I'm not mad at them I'm mad at Jack and I will still talk to them because they're my best friends.

I walked out the door and someone grabbed my arm and spun me around. "Daniel...what are you doing?" I asked. "Something that I would never do in my life but today I have the guts to do it." He places his soft lips onto mine and wrapped his arms around my waist as he pulled me closer into his chest.

It was magical.

I soon wrapped my hands around his neck and quickly to his hair. I knew this was wrong but it felt right. "Daniel...I just broke up with my boyfriend I can't move on this quickly." I said breaking the kiss. "I know but I deeply fell in love with you ever since we met and I knew I would never have the chance because jack. He's that flirty boy who all the girls fall in love with and I knew I would never get the chance but today is my day and I want it to be special." Daniel said. I didn't know how to respond it was everything.

"I don't know Daniel. I had feelings for you too but I just broke up with Jack and I can't move this quickly." I looked into his ocean eyes. "Well I'm pretty sure Jack moved on to Aspen like that." "Well two can play that game." I kissed Daniel once more before walking to my car. "Goodnight Dani!" I shouted "Goodnight Cutie!" I giggled and drove off back to Logan's apartment.

I opened the door and took off my hat and shoes Shore and Kong were sleeping on the couch and I walked to Logan's room. "Logan?" I asked He was passed out on his laptop with drool everywhere I laughed trying not to make it too loud. I fixed him up by comfortably laying his head on a pillow and draping a blanket over his body.  I walked outside and took off my sweater and shorts and threw back on my thrasher shirt right then and there.

I quickly fell asleep with the pups as it was 3:42 am and I'm super tired.

What an interesting night may I say. Breaking up with the love of my life then getting together with the love of my life's best friend. Haha...
