The ride to the town centre was short, which would probably be an advantage if James gets too wasted to drive us home safely, which is more than likely considering we both like to party.
James parked the car directly behind our favourite club, 'The Versace'. This allowed us to remember, no matter how intoxicated we may end up being, where the car would be parked, which would be helpful even if we did have to walk back into the town centre tomorrow to collect the car.
Even though I was hesitant to come out tonight, I'm starting to warm to the idea massively. James was right. This is what I need. I was stuck in a relationship with Alex for six months were I wasn't able to go out to enjoy myself, even if it was only a shopping trip with my friends, without Alex having to come with me or checking up on me every ten minutes. He thought I was going to cheat on him but in reality, it should have been me that was worried. That's what he did. He cheated. For the entire six months. With someone who was supposed to be one of my best friends. I'm done with them both now. Tonight should help me realise that I don't need them. As long as it turns out as good as James says it should be.
"Come on Lish, let's go babe" James snapped me out of my thoughts by opening the passenger side door of the car and grabbing my arm, as if to be encouraging me to move.
I cooperated, thinking that the sooner that I got the night started, the sooner I would be happier and forget about that prick.
As we walked towards the front of the club, it was practically deserted, which is unheard of considering the fact that it was a Friday night after all.
James walked in front of me, towards the security guard. After having a short conversation with him, we were both allowed straight in and the security guard wished us a good night.
As we walked in, I had no idea what would be greeting me inside...((I'm so sorry if this chapter is rubbish guys, I've only just started writing and the chapters will get better, I promise. Please comment and vote, thank you))
