*IVY POV*
"You've had sex before right?" I figured he was talking to the girl behind me. Her name is Abby, and from what i'd overheard from snippets of conversation, all the guys called her "Able Abby". But he wasn't talking to her. He was talking to me.
I slowly lifted my head from my kindle screen, locking my eyes onto a pair of bright blue ones, glinting with mischief. I looked behind me, where Abby normally sits, but her seat was vacant. I turned back around, facing him. His name was Trent. I knew that much. He had his eyebrows raised, and he was leaning his elbows against my desk, his head propped on his hands, studying me. He had dark messy hair and slight dimples whenever he smiled. Of course he's hot, that's obvious to anyone with eyes. What wasn't attractive, though, was the look he had in his eyes, as they raked over my body. I spoke up, breaking him out of his trance. "I don't see how that's any of your goddamned businees, thank you very much." I stated clearly and bluntly, awiting his reply. He looked taken aback, as his hands were no longer propping up his face, and his mouth was threatening to curl into a smile. "Wow. Fiesty. What's your name?" He said. I rolled my eyes, coming up with a name as quickly as possible. "Rebecca Talbert." I answered, getting the names from the corners of my mind, remembering the play that I was forced to go to with my parents, called the Kentucky Cycle. One of the character's names was Rebecca Talbert, and it was the first thing that came to mind.
Trent said: "Isn't that the name of that girl in that hill billy play who married the guy who murdered his dad in the bath or something?" Shit. I figured he didn't know what that was. But since this IS AP English, it makes sense. His parents probably forced him to take this class, like mine did. Although i'll bet his situation wasn't nearly as worse, becase he isn't the only freshman in a class full of juniors and seniors. "my name is Ivy." I stated, avoiding his sultry gaze. "Knew it. nice try with the fake name though, nearly had me there." He winked. What a desperate little Douche. "Now, back to my earlier question--
"Like I said, it's none of your business!" I said, annoyed at him interrupting me from Game of Thrones. (Yes, there are books, it's what came before the show)
"So I'm guessing that's a no, then." I didn't reply. By this time, he had already sat down next to me, and was looking at me sideways, his head propped onto his hand again. He seemed to be calculating something, like I was some math problem he was stuck on. I tried to avoid his eyes, but he wouldn't stop STARING AT ME. Class hadn't even started yet, and I already had a possible date-rapist sitting next to me. Thanks mom.
