Chapter 1

Jodie's p.o.v

I was sitting at the park with Danni when she burst out with news she was obviously excited about. She was waving her hands about with a massive cheesy grin on her face. I stared her at in concern.

"OMG OMG OMG!" She squealed whilst slapping my arm. "I have a boyfriend!" I smiled with a cheesy grin. Great I'm the only single one again!

"Who?" I asked.

"Luke Hemmings!" She said trying to be calm. "I’m seeing him and a couple of his friends tomorrow. You wanna come?" She asked

"Sure!" I replied sounding relaxed.

"Awesome I will pick you up at 11."

"That will be great"

"Ok I need to go back to work see ya tomorrow.”

"Bye" She walked towards the busy town centre.

I didn’t know what to do on my day off. I always got bored. I couldn’t stay a second longer in this heat of Australia. I was glad I moved from the UK. I did like the heat but I felt like I was burning. I had to move so I got up and shouted "DANIELA! WAIT UP!" When we got to town, we had to push though hundreds of people.

"Why did you make me move to Sydney?" I moaned at her.

"I only asked if you wanted to and you said yes!" She corrected me. I rolled my eyes whilst still pushing through the crowd.

"Ok you win!" I said whilst pulling her though the crowd. We have lived in Australia for about 2 years but Daniela moved out about 4 months ago to live with some mates on her shift which I was cool with because we work together but on different shifts.

As we got to our work the head chef came out looking scared.

"Are you ok Tony?" I asked.

"Do I look ok?!" He snapped. We both gave him a dirty look. Sorry I asked. I thought turning my head away from him. "Sorry it’s just that no one apart from you, Daniela has turned up for their shifts! And there is no one to serve!"

"Hey calm down. Im here I will help today!!" I said whilst walking in towards the staff room.

"Thank you! But it’s your day off!" Tony stated.

"I thought that two!" I said sarcastically.

As I came out the staff room with someone's order I saw Daniela sitting down with 4 Guys. After I gave them the food I stood by the bar and casually looked over to be nosey but I caught eye contact with one so I carried on before he could smile at me or something but instead he said something to another boy and walked over to me holding his empty glass. I panicked and ran back in the staff area so he didn't see me.

Ashton's p.o.v

I walked up the bar to get another drink but instead I just placed my glass on the side and walked over to the staff room and stood outside. When the girl came I was leaning up against the wall.

"So I saw you looking at me!"  I smirked. She was about 5ft 10. She was wearing a pair of blue crops and a light blue floral top. She has light brown straight hair with hazel eyes.

"No I wasn’t! I was being nosey. Daniela supposed to be working and I’m not!"  She stated.

"It's your day off?" I asked. "Then why are you here?"

"No one has turned up for shifts!" She sighed. "And Daniela lives with them so I'm really annoyed. Anyway how do you know Daniela?"

"Um..um We met her here once and we talk to her all the time." I hesitated hoping she wouldn't notice in was lying.

Jodie's p.o.v

Really? She has never mentioned them before we tell each everything. Or is he lying? I thought giving the man a sly look.

"I’m Ashton by the way."

"Jodie." "I better get back to work because Daniela isn’t." I said rushing to another table.

"Ok I hope I will see you soon!"

Hiya my name is jodie, im 15 and im a directioner, mixer and 5sos fam :) this is the first book in a kinda series im doing i have another one out called 'help me' my micahel fanfic and i will be writing on that one as well as writing this unless you are reading after it has been completed :) and i have rewritten this so hopefully it's slightly better :)
