Chapter 9

Jodie’s p.o.v

 The next morning I woke in a weird place. I didn’t recognise it. But then I did. I think I saw the room once before. I got out of bed slowly to make sure no one heard me. Phew no one’s here. I crept down the stairs. Trying not to wake anyone else up when I got downstairs to hear.

"Mornin' sleepy!" Ashton said but sounded like yelling.

“What time is it?" I asked yawning.

"10" Ashton said after drinking coffee.

"Where is everyone?" I said walking towards the kettle.

"At work. I don’t need to go today." He said watching my every move.

"Neither do I" I said after putting the kettle on. "How long have you been up?"

"Since 8 not long." He said sipping his coffee again. "Ooh thanks for stealing my bed!" He said smirking.

"I was in your room!" I said. "Where were you?" I asked looking confused.

"Sleeping with Michael! He enjoyed it!" He said laughing and winking at me but all I could do is cringe.

"Seriously?" I looked at him with eyes wide open to realise

"No he wanted to but I said no!" He said frowning. Oh god. I could do nothing cringe. "So what are we doing today?" He asked with a cheeky grin on his face.

"Well I need to go back home to change, Then nothing really."  I replied.

"I will come with you I have nothing better to do anyway."

After having a shower and getting dressed, I walked downstairs trying to dry my hair as much as I saw Ashton lying on the sofa. I stood there watching him with a confused look on my face. Was I really that long he fell asleep?

I carefully went to get my hairdryer from the cupboard. OH SHIT WHY IS IT THAT HIGH UP? I thought to myself. I carefully stood on my tiptoes trying to grab the plug to pull it slowly but it decided to pull a basket full of junk down crashing on to my head.Ashton woke up from the noise. I turned around to see him wiping his eyes and yawning.

"You alright sleepy?" I asked picking the stuff up off the floor.

"How long have I been asleep?" He said still yawning

"I've only just came downstairs so I’m not sure" I said as he got up and walked to the kitchen.

"You want a drink?"

"I’m good" It’s safe to say he knows how to work the kettle and I don’t. My mum gave it to me and Danni when we moved out to Australia.

"How long will you be?" Ashton asked knowing I would be longer than 20 minutes.

"15-20 minutes!" I shouted back. He groaned walking back to the kitchen to make the drink.

About 10 minutes later walking downstairs ready to go, I walked into the kitchen where Ashton was pacing around looking at the cupboard until he saw me and fell back in to the cupboard with fright.

"Jesus Jodie! I thought you would of said you were there!" He said breathing heavy.

"No I thought it would be funnier to scare you!" I replied smiling cheekily grabbing the keys that were behind him.

"C'com where are we going?" I questioned walking towards the front door.

"Umm.. we could go.. um?" He stuttered.
