Chapter 10

Ashton’s p.o.v

Jodie and I went back to her place to stay after today. We sat on the sofa watching chick flicks. Doing nothing for the rest of the evening.

"Do you want something to eat?" She asked sitting up straight on the sofa.

"Sure, what time is it?" I replied yawning.

"1:21" Her face filled with shock. Danni, Luke, Michael and Calum must be panicking. "Have you called them?" She said walking into the kitchen.

"No why?" I said with a giggle. "Don’t worry about it they won’t worry!" I said sloughing to the sofa more when she picked up my phone.

"I would worry! 6 missed calls and 12 new texts last on about 1 hour ago!" She said walking to the living room and handing me my phone.

"Oh shit!" I said unlocking my phone and replying. "Phew hopefully they know now." My phone started to ring.

"Hey Calum!"

"Heya Ash where are you?" I left the phone on speaker so she could hear.

"I’m at Jodie's" I said smiling at her.

"Ooooo what are you two-" He was cut off by me taking it off speaker.

“We aren’t doing THAT!" I exclaimed down the phone walking off to the other side of the room, placing emphasis on 'That'.

All she could do is laugh because it was funny the fact I was trying to hide Calum saying that even though she knew what I was talking about.

"Was that Jodie?" Calum said from the phone. I burst into more laughter.

"She found you joke amusing!"

"So did Luke by the way! He can’t stop laughing." Calum said joining in the laughter too.

"Ok can you go now so we can.. um.. finish the movie." She was concerned at the start of that sentence. She stared at me so she knew I was concerned. I did nothing but stick my tongue out.

"Ok mate have fun!" Calum said giggling at me.

"Shut up!" I said hanging up on Calum.

"Finish the movie well done!" she said sarcastically.

"What?" I said pulling a confused face.

"It finished about half an hour ago!" She said falling into laughter.

"Oh well the rest don’t need to know!" We both laughed it off.

I sat back on the sofa so she stayed there lying on me just talking. I have never done anything like this in my life. No one (female) has paid this much attention to me before. They always went for the others in the band. I’m just glad me and Jodie are friends.

"Are we going to bed you look tried?" I said yawning after.

"Yea sure. I'll get a blanket" She walked towards the cupboard and pulled out a big blanket then placed it over me.

"Night Ash!" She said walking towards the stairs.

"Where are you going?" I asked sounding shocked.

"Upstairs to my room" she said pointing upstairs.

"To get ready for bed to come back downstairs!" I said smiling at the end.

 "I meant to sleep but if you want me to stay downstairs with you then yea I will!" I smiled as she walked back to the sofa.
