The Witch and the Worker

I was currently being hung over a boiling cauldron as I see a familiar witch walk up to me as she stops in front of me.

"This is the fifth time in a row you've been late, Y/N." She says as I look at her.

"Well what are you gonna do, summon some weird creature?" I say jokingly as I suddenly get lowered to where my head was a few inches above the boiling water "Can't you take a joke Persona?!" I say as I hear her giggle and raise me back up.

"You won't be late from now on promise?" I hear her say as I nod. I feel myself get lifted away from the cauldron as the rope suddenly unties itself, causing me to fall to the ground. I sit up as I rub my head, Persona walks to me as she picks me up off the ground and gets me onto my feet "Well now that we got that out of the way, you ready to test out some new spells and potions I created?" She says as I groan and sit in a chair that Persona brought. She hands me a potion that was a disguisting green color. I sniffed as my face cringes, it smelled like (insert bad smell here "really you couldn't just describe one?" I'd like to see you try and write it then "You." Well goddamn) I hold mt nose as I swallow it in all in basically one gulp. I look to see that I was perectly fine.

"Well that wasn't ba-" Thud

(Timeskip)

I flutter my eyes open slowly I feel a pain in the back of my neck, I look around to realize my head was on the ground. I see Persona sitting on a chair reading a spell book "How long was I out?" I ask as I rub my neck.

"A couple of hours."

"And you didn't even bother to move me?"

Persona giggled "I just thought you looked cute like that." I sigh as I get up and start walking to the door, Persona waving bye to me.

(Timeskip because I'm terrible at transitions)

I walk up to what looked like a building similar to mine, except with a sign saying 'Blacksmith'. I open the door as I look inside seeing a stove, a variety of tools, along with a anvil.

"I'll be right ther-!" I see one of the tables from behind the counter shake as I hear groaning "Ow." Matna says as she suddenly appears from under the table, she looks toward the entrance/exit as she suddenly gives a beight smile at seeing me, she waves "Y/N! You came!"

"Hey Matna. Nice shop." I say as I walk towards the counter.

"Yep. Saved up money and bought it myself." She says as smI nod and smile well

"Well glad to see you've been doing well." I say as Matna giggles.

"Yep. Well are you doing anything tomorrow?" Matna asks as I sigh.

"Yeah. For some reason the "royalness" wants me to come visit her castle for some reason." I say as Matna seems to sadden a little before seeming to brighten back up. "I actually have to get ready for that soon. It's getting late." I say as start walking to the door, waving back to her. She waves back with a smile on her "I'll visit again!" I say before leaving through the door, starting to head back to home.

(Matna POV)

The second Y/N leaves the smile on my face vanishes as I lean into my arm "Well there goes that."
