The next day I did my normal routine of picture taking, and surprisingly didn't run into Tom. He was probably with his girlfriend. I didn't care though, because I had a date, and for some reason I was super excited about it.

When it got around 4 in the afternoon, I headed back to the hotel and took a shower. When I got out, I dried my hair and went over to my suitcase to see what clothes I could wear.

I didn't bring anything formal- mainly jeans and tshirts- so I decided on a pair of dark jeans and a blue one shoulder top.

I was brushing my hair, when I heard a knock on my door. I opened it and saw that it was Gavin.

"Oh! Hey Gavin. You're kind of early." I said, yanking the hairbrush out of my hair.

He looked down at his watch. "Oh, sorry. I..uh.. I can come back later if you want."

"No no no that's okay." I scrambled over to the side of the bed and slipped on a pair of shoes. "I'm ready now."

"Okay great." I walked over to the door and threw my brush on my bed, grabbing a headband to keep my half brushed hair out if my face.

We walked out of the hotel together and climbed into his car.

"So where are we going?" I asked.

"I can't tell you." Gavin said smiling. I let out a sigh.

"I hate surprises though!" I said giving him a little shove.

"Hey not while I'm driving!" Gavin said and laughed.

"Ugh whatever." I huffed, slouching down in my seat. I tried to keep a pouting look on my face until I finally cracked and started laughing.

"So how much longer are you assigned here?" Gavin asked.

"I leave next Friday."

"I might have to change that. London is too big to completely capture in one week." he winked.

"Well maybe you can show me around." I said, attempting to wink back. That didn't turn out so well though because I can't wink. I just ended up making Gavin laugh some more. We finally pulled up at a the restaurant and Gavin, being a gentleman, opened the car door for me and helped me out.

"So what is this place?" I asked.

"My favorite restaurant ever. I usually come here on my trips to London."

"Wow it's...fancy." I said, looking around. This wasn't a restaurant that you wore jeans to and I felt completely underdressed. "I wish you told me we were going somewhere this nice. I probably look horrible."

"What? no you look absolutely fine." he said, smiling. He held his arm out and we followed the waitress to a table with a "reserved" sign.

We sat down and began looking at the menu. I had no idea what any if the food was.

"Um Gavin? Is there anything on here that you would suggest?" I asked.

He looked up from his menu. "I'll let you decide."

"This doesn't really look like a place that would have burgers...does it?"

He laughed. "No, not really."

"Uh... well then I'll get what you're getting." I said, putting the menu.

The waitress came back and asked for our orders.

"Um I'll have the garden salad." Gavin said.

"Yeah I'll have the same." I said, handing the waitress my menu.
