Go Hard Or Go Home

I have a humanity switch you know.

I could turn it off whenever I want to.

I could turn it off when times feel hard

I could turn it off when everyone starts giving up on me

I could turn it off when I have no more faith or hope

But just when I feel like giving up..

I know people will care

I know people will want me to move forward

And even though the pain is really hard to take

I still continue to aspire, to dream that I can one day be who I want to be

That I can one day be successful and maybe even turn into an author ;)

I see myself, everyday, crossing that finish line at the end of the race

So even if you're not going to be there for me

I'm still going to finish my race.

Even if it takes me proceeding acts of failure every single time

I still have a chance of crossing that finish line

Whether or not you'll be there for me,

I'm still going to work harder and harder along the way.

Because that's who I am.

That's who I want to be.
