Chapter 29: The Pained Smile

Xavier was trapped unable to move or break through the rising spell. The more power he pushed to break through it the powerful it becomes when it faced him instead. Like a ricochet cannonball the spell threw his force back at him, sending him backwards; restricting his moves and holding back his resisting. He stood facing the coming cursed spirits while they called the devils to spare them if they get hold on him. Was it like a mission? Was it an exchange? A soul for a soul and a life for a life, to let one in, were another take his place; Perhaps, or perhaps not!

He stood still watching the chaos and the petrifying vibes that manifested inside of that place his anger already broke all levels, as he watched the souls hurriedly storming at him biting and barking like hungry dogs. He felt disgusted, repulsed at their crazy behavior. However he understood that this was a trap to hold any intruders back colleting them as they held them here forever and use them back as mindless hounds. They were a perfect security dogs to stand as guards, however his questions were; who are they protecting? And why? It seemed that his mate hid a dangerous secret behind her innocent looks, the further he followed the more he discovered. Jumping more and more into a very muddy well of water.

He didn't want to waste any time any more, as he collected himself and raised his hand in front of him calling for his powers to break loose. His feet took some steps forward facing the coming horde head's on. Like a warrior he didn't wait for them holding his sword and barring his claws to his waiting enemies. With every step he took a bunch of the walls that stretched themselves to the sky fell part by part hitting the ground. His steps held a magnificent supremacy that spread gradually at peaceful rhyme hitting the circle of the spell inside that area. Like bloody daggers they flung into every inch and part of the curse breaking it bit by bit and inch by inch. Similar to getting a tumor where it slowly ate his host's and silently turning off the light from his shining eyes.

The cracks started appearing flaring out speedily through the printed circle of the manifestation. His hand still rose at his chest level calling for the wind and air, summoning the heavens onto his palm. The earth shook from the shock, trembled in fear at his might. His feet kept walking wiping out the surface from his excruciating heat that he radiated. Like two meteors colliding with this earth calling for a world wild extensions. Turning the sun to a sackcloth, forging the moon to a bloody fool and calling the stars of the sky to fall onto this sinful earth. Making a promise that the sun shall be turned to darkness, due to the fire of hell and the columns of smock.

The wind in his hands kept growing in an alarming way, feeding on the angry souls that roamed endlessly. The ball of wind lit with fire mixing the two types of powers, streaming forcefully as its radiance started to increase swallowing the darkness along with rage in one mouthful bit. It grew bigger and bigger into a huge monstrous wolf's shape created from fire and air twisting hard in a vigorous hellish coercion. Enjoying the delicious plate of variants' taste combined of agony and anguish.

The figure of the wolf opened its mouth devouring whole heartedly the sweet taste of the wondering souls, sending the final blow to the weak spell breaking it entirely in one hit. His move was swift, elegant and full of majestic. The sound of cracks elevated giving a big bang almost immediately, hinting that the curse that stood for along time inside that place had finally ended. It was followed by the sound of their screams ending as much as they have started. As if nothing had happened, the singing of the birds spread harmoniously happily playing their amazing songs. Gradually life started to breath into the dead land.

The wind blew lightly onto the air, moving the strands of hair that fell out into his forehead. It blew as the sky become blue and the sun shun the brightest over decades of time. The day was warm slightly chilly spreading this amazing feelings directly into the coldest hearts. Xavier stood confidently but yet still annoyed. His mind raced, while his feet kept going following his mate's trail. He was irked, bothered with this game of pull and push. He simply wanted his mate beside him, his wolf called for her yet she kept running while he kept being interrupted by people and things he didn't know why.

He resisted the temptation of his darkest side, he fought the urge to destroy and kill. Biting his lips until he drew blood, shaking his head until a concussion almost injured his brain. He bent down slightly taking a deep breath while he smirked wickedly promising a lot and a lot. One second he smirked to change in the next second into a deep painful and angry frown. However, just in a moment later he will start laughing joyfully into the sky.

Really, really this was the most difficult times.
