So for the next few weeks, Christian and Kim became quite an item together, Rachel and Ethan were head over heels for each other, and she even started out helping him out by joining his band, after he taught her how to play the bass guitar. After a few weeks of his teaching and her quick learning, she actually got pretty good at it. I was seeing less and less of Sandy, for she and Sully, went to Boston for summer vacation, and she was sending me texts, and calling me every so often telling me how much of a blast she was having with her sexy Sully.

Every chance I got to be with Klayton I was, and he started coming over to the house like clockwork every other day and sat on that same bench across the drive from our house with his guitar, and would sing and play music to me for hours on end, until my father would come out and try to run him off, but that was like trying to draw blood from a stone, it wasn't happening. After three months of Klayton sitting out there on that bench rain or shine, playing and singing to me, my mother got tired of it and ran out in the rain and pulled him to his feet and grabbed his arm and drug him to the house, and told him to get his crazy ass inside before he caught pneumonia from standing out in the rain like an idiot.

Klayton sat down in the chair she pointed to him, and handed him a towel for him to dry off, and asked him what in the hell was his problem...that no girl was worth all that, just for attention. He looked directly at her and said that he loved me, and would never stop, until I was with him where I needed to be, and belonged, and it was wrong for them both to deny our love just because he looked different. Ben gave a few squeaks to let Klayton know that he didn't like being wet. He gave a slight smile and pulled Ben out of his pocket and dried him off with the same towel then put him in his inside pocket of his duster where it was drier.

Our mother sat down and talked with him as he warmed up from being out in the rain for so long, as he dried his guitar off, and lightly strummed on it making a very sweet and soft tune. I wanted to run downstairs and be with him, but I restrained myself so that my mother could get to know him because from what I was hearing, they were getting along great. After the conversation dried up between them he played one of his songs that was so soft and emotional, that if a guitar could weep it would...I know it made my mom come to tears it was so beautiful. I walked down the stairs and looked at my mother, she gave me a securing smile then said she would leave us alone for a while, and left the room and headed to her bedroom at the end of the hall.

I crawled into his arms as he kissed me very sweetly all up and down my face and neck, and said that he would never leave me. I heard Ben squeaking lightly letting me know that he was there too, I put my hand in his pocket and gave him a few loving rubs. I went into the kitchen and made him something to eat, as I heard him sneezing...my mother came out of the room and told me that I needed to get him upstairs and put him to bed because she knew he was going to get sick from being out in the rain all day. I looked at her in complete apprehension, but she told me quickly that my father wouldn't be home for a few days, because he was out of town on a huge business meeting, and she didn't mind having Klayton around at all, because after she got to know him a little, he was quite average, and rather intelligent...and that he just liked being extremely different, which was totally understandable to her.

I laughed to myself as I said if she thought my Stoney was different, she wouldn't have words to utter if and when she ever got to meet Crisstopher. But I gently pulled him out of the chair and walked him to my bedroom, as he looked all around our huge home. I helped him out of his leather clothes as my mother came in and handed me some pajama bottoms that was still brand new in the package, telling me at least they would get some use because our father refused to wear them. Klayton slid them on and playfully hopped into my huge and very soft bed, and snuggled under my blankets. But as soon as I was acting like I was leaving he held out both of his arms and began to pout, telling me that he couldn't rest without holding me, and I wasn't allowed to leave him alone.

I turned off the light, and crawled in next to him and let him wrap around me like a soft blanket, as I gently played in his hair. After a while, he was completely relaxed and warm, he closed his eyes and told me how much he loved me. I closed my eyes and relaxed too, and told him that I loved him too, then we both drifted off into a long and peaceful rest. I was for the first time ever, truly happy being at home, because I finally got to have the guy I loved with me instead of just listening and watching him from a distance crying myself to sleep wishing he was in here with me...for now it was reality, he truly was with me, and I was never going to let him go.
