Hey everyone, sorry it took so long to update, just a reminder A chapters are Molly and Sherlock B chapters are John and Sherlock
forewarning this chapter is steamy so those with glasses.....be warned.
**************Six hours had passed since Molly managed to leave the narrow alley behind Luxieria Cuisine.
Lestrad had questioned her as had Donovan. She told them both everything that had transpired, at least almost everything.
For some reason she didn't want to share the intimate details between Sherlock and herself.
Her reasoning was silly, she worried that by saying it out loud it would prove to have never happened.
When she had arrived at her flat she had taken off the suit jacket and dress before hopping in the shower.
Now she sat on her couch watching reruns on the telly.
Her hair was loose, the wet strands brushing her cheek when she moved, soaking the fuzzy pink robe she wore.
Standing up with a puff, Molly turned off the telly and headed to her bedroom.
The ding of the doorbell broke through the flat, stopping her.
For a moment her heart fluttered at the though of Sherlock on the other side of the wood door, but she quickly dismissed it.
Then again, who else would be knocking on her apartment door at four in the morning?
She brushed worried hands down the fuzzy robe, suddenly wishing that she owned a silk dressing gown or at the very least something attractive.
Not that she truly thought Sherlock would care about what she wore, but he had been excited earlier, hadn't he?
Her door opened, revealing Sherlock with a single key in his hand.
Molly's eyes fixated on the small silver object.
"When did you get a key to my appartment?" She tried to keep her tone calm and reasonable but the sudden invasion of privacy was too much.
Sherlock rocked on his heels, obviously unaware that he had overstepped himself.
"Christmas," he said, not needing to explain which one.
Molly could still remember that night, how he had hurt her feelings before giving her a chaste kiss on the cheek as an apology.
She had fooled herself into believing he could change and had been crushed when he still acted the aragant detective towards her.
There was also the headless woman that Sherlock had been able to identify by her nude body alone.
Molly had never learned who the deceased had been to Sherlock and had never brought up the courage to ask.
"You're here for the dress and jacket right?" Molly asked as she made her way to her bedroom. "I'll go get them then."
Molly didn't hear an answer and hadn't really expected one.
Entering her small room, Molly fetched the tux jacket from her bed. She turned to get the dress when she found Sherlock standing in the doorway.
He had removed his coat, revealing a maroon shirt and black pants. It was her favorite outfit of his and the amount he wore it stated he liked it as well.
His face was neutral as he scanned her room, no doubt picking up more information about her.
"You know, I find it interesting to know that you hung the dress but not the coat." he said casually as his eyes focused on the red lace.
