My sisters and I had snuck downtown to search for something. Angelica (my eldest sister) wouldn't give Eliza (my other elder sister), and I any information. She just said to come with her.

"Angelica, remind me what we're looking for?" Eliza said in a sing-song kind of way.
Angelica looked around, her deep brown hair blowing across her chestnut skin. "A mind at work." She said. She was wearing the pink dress days had gotten her for her birthday last year, that I have been jealous of ever since.

Eliza looked at me, confused. Her long black hair was up in a half do and falling over her bright blue dress. Her light skin glowed in the sunlight.

"Is she making any sense to you?" She asked.

I shook my head. "I'm just going with it."

I ran up to Angelica. "Daddy said to be home by sundown." I said.

She turned to me, a huge smile on her face. "Daddy doesn't need to know."

I glared at her. "Daddy said not to go down town."

Eliza smiled, Angelica had pulled her in. "Like she said, you're free to go."

I rolled my eyes. They were being annoying as usual. I may be the youngest but I still have a choice in what we do for the day.

A man walked up to us. He had dark skin and a bald head. Arron Burr. Great.

He was flirting with Angelica. How rude!

"Go away, Burr. We are not interested. " I said angrily.

We need up trying to get rid of him for about half an hour before he finally left. Geez.

"I hate that guy." Eliza growled.

"You took the words right out of my mouth." I said, glaring at him as he walked away.

"Come on ladies." Angelica said. "Lets go home."
