I was visiting my sister for a month when he came.
Alexander came home one day fuming. He was absolutely furious.
"Alexander?" Eliza asked. "What's wrong?"
"JEFFERSON!" Alexander screamed. " That idiot is trying to steal all my plans. He wanted to counter my proposal!"
"Weren't you going to have a debate about it any way?" I asked.
"Yes." He said. "I just didn't think it was with someone like him."
He stormed up stairs and lock himself in his office.
"Does he get like this often?" I asked.
Eliza nodded. "A lot lately. He just needs time. He will be fine.
I had heard a lot about this Thomas guy lately. Every day something new. Apparently he had been of in France for the whole war and was toying with Alex. Nothing I could do but if I ever met him, I would wha t to know more.
