"Oh, that will be so beautiful!" Elham exclaims. She knew Mariam will be the most beautiful bride. And what was better than wearing a niqab at the wedding? She was so happy for her friend. She couldn't wait to see her friend as a bride.

"Yes. I wish it was just women and men separated but we couldn't do it like that." Malik and Mariam had several arguments over this issue. But Malik wanted to invite his friends and cousins so she had to cover up.

"That's alright. Niqabi brides are just as beautiful as regular brides. You will look stunning," Elham tells Mariam.

Mariam smiles. She was so excited for the wedding. They talked and chatted the next few hours then Mariam put her niqab and excused herself to go home.

It was dark out and Mariam was a little afraid to go home. Her house wasn't too far from Elhams but it was dangerous to walk alone at night nowadays. Mariam clutched her bag in fright. She was on edge. She felt like someone was walking behind her. She slowly peeked behind her and saw a man walking quickly behind her. Mariam became very afraid and called Malik.

"Hey habibty, whats up?"

"I'm afraid, Malik. I'm walking by myself and someone's behind me," Mariam whispers into the phone.

"Keep talking to me so they can know you're protected. Don't worry. I'm on my way to you."

The person was getting closer. "Malik!" Mariam gasps.
