The start:
She was very fascinated by the painting. She just stared at it as if she was a fierce animal watching its prey."Eve we're going for lunch now, come on!" Said Miss Derrons. "I'll be right there miss." Replied Eve. However, Eve was so interested in the painting of her favourite Greek god, Zeus, that she couldn't peel her eyes away from it and follow the rest of the class.
Slowly, she moved her hand towards the painting of Zeus then she put it to where she thought the painting would be and where the wall was but it just felt like nothing was there, like she was just touching the empty air. She was very puzzled. So she moved her hand out further but she still wasn't making contact with anything. Although she thought it was very stupid she thought that maybe she should walk straight through the magnificent painting. She had to make sure nobody was around as she would've been embarrassed and everyone would laugh if it didn't work so she turned her head and did a full 360° look around the museum hall. She was the only one in the hall so she prepared to take a step into the painting. Eve knew she would be hurt if she did actually hit the wall so she squished her face up readying herself for the pain of hitting a hard brick wall. 3...2...1! She moved forward but still didn't feel a single thing. Knowing that she wouldn't be hurt or have a broken nose she relaxed her face.
Suddenly, she had appeared in a completely different world, it was hot, sunny and there was lots of oak trees around. She was standing in the middle of a light yellow path. Now she wasn't alone, there were people going about their everyday lives but one small thing had changed the people's clothes were very basic and looked like they were from way back in time. They wore things like sandals and white gowns. Eve wasn't sure what was going on but it was definitely more exciting than being on a school trip.
"Sorry, oh no please forgive me I didn't mean to bump into you." "It's fine, don't worry." A tall blonde girl was too busy looking into a mirror at herself that she didn't see Eve on the path so ended up walking into her. Eve thought this was the perfect time to ask a few questions. "Excuse me, where are we?" "We're on Mount Olympus in Greece. Didn't you already know that?" "Oh yes, silly me" said Eve even though she had never been there before.
Mount Olympus was home to all the gods and goddesses of Greece that have magical powers and control all of the elements, how could a random school girl be on Mount Olympus? It must have been a miracle. "I'm Amy, daughter of Aphrodite the goddess of love and beauty." Said the blonde girl.Who are you?" "Oh, me, I'm Eve the daughter of Matthew and July Hythe, nothing special really." "Cool. Are you new here?" "Yes, I am." "Would you like a tour then?" " I would love one, if you don't mind." "Sure!" So both of them, Amy at the front, began to walk down the path exploring more of the amazing, ancient Mount Olympus!
