Here's chapter two!!
One Month Later...
"Do I look okay?" Josie asked Della, looking at her through the mirror. "This is my first literal date and I'm paranoid as hell that I'm going to look like utter crap." She chewed on her bottom lip. Della laughed, rolling her eyes. "You look fine! Josie, he's going to think you look beautiful anyways."
Josie nodded, slowly, looking at her outfit again. "You're right, you're right." Anything else Josie was planning on saying was cut off as knocks sounded on the door. "I'll go get that." Della said, wiggling her eyebrows before she took off to the door.
Josie came out of her bedroom, shutting the door behind her. "Hi." She said, breathlessly, with a smile. "Hi, Josie. Man, you look fücking great." Ashton said, standing up and walking over to Josie. "Thank you. You look awesome, too." She mumbled, her cheeks pink.
They left the house shortly after and headed to a fancy restaurant. A hostess led them to their table and Ashton pulled out Josie's chair for her. "Thank you." She smiled and sat down. The couple ordered their food and drinks, talking and laughing the whole time.
After the meal, Ashton and Josie walked to the nearby park. Josie sat down on a swing and Ashton went behind her, gently pushing on her back. Josie smiled and closed her eyes. "Gosh, this makes me feel like a little kid again." She said, softly, with a little laugh.
Ashton smiled and continued to push her, just enjoying the entertainment on her face. After a few more minutes, Ashton finally broke the silence. "Hey, Josie. We've been talking for quite a while now and I feel like we know a lot about each other and I just..." Ashton stopped for a second and rubbed his hand down his face before groaning. "This is always the hardest part, I swear. Anyways, I was wondering if you'd like to be my girlfriend."
Josie stared at him for, quite possibly, too long. "Oh, god, I fūcked up. You don't really.." Ashton trailed off when he saw the grin making its way onto Josie's lips. "Ashton, I would love to be your girlfriend." She whispered, standing on her tiptoes to press her lips against Ashton's.
