That night, Hugo and Axel told their parents about the events at the park, so Garrick and Samira permitted their sons to have a sleepover tonight. Axel invited Roderick, and Hugo invited James and Sofia. This was definitely a fun night.
"I think this is the best sleepover we've ever had," Hugo smiled.
"I'm so glad I gave you chance, Hugo," Roderick smiled.
"I don't think I'm ready to give that Princess Hildegard a chance after what happened today," Caleb groaned.
"We know what you mean," Sofia said. "She's really tough to keep giving chances to."
"Well, enough of Hildegard—we should be celebrating," Axel smiled.
Everyone started having even more fun during the sleepover. This was definitely a great night, and Axel was happy to be friends with Roderick again.
Hugo learned a bit of a lesson: everyone deserves a second chance. It may seem like someone doesn't deserve one, but giving that person a second chance was definitely worth it. Giving Roderick a second chance was worth restoring his and Axel's friendship.
