~• Zane's POV •~
After I turned my back to Kawaii~Chan, I heard muffled screams. I turned my head back a little, and I heard a door slam shut. "G-G-GET YOUR FILTHY HANDS OFF ME!" I stared at the door where the girl yelled. She didn't sound familiar, but as she got out, she tripped and fell on me. She was crying... And she was Kawaii~Chan... "O-Ow! I'm sorry, b-but I gotta g-go!" She quickly got up and ran before I stopped her. I looked up, lifting myself up, and I saw Dante running after her. 'Dante... That little-' I cut off my thoughts and got up, walking out. I saw Dante pin her to his motorcycle, and I growled lowly in rage. I saw his tan hands move to her back, and I walked out, completely raged.. "HEY! LEAVE HER ALONE!" I yelled.
~•Kawaii~Chan's POV•~
When I turned my head to the guy, I saw Zane... He looked raged, as if he could claw out Dante's eyes. Dante looked at Zane and smirked, "Ha! Sorry, but she's my girlfriend. And who are you sir?" He lied. He turned his face to me and raised my left hand, and back-hand slapped Dante. He fell on his knees and Zane ran up to me, connecting his hand with mine, and he started running. I stumbled a bit, but I began running to. We ran away from school, and soon, our shoes weren't touching the anymore concrete, but gravel and dirt. We ended up running into a forest with beautiful spruce trees. We stopped running, as he let go of my hand, I felt my body collapse. I was breathing heavily, drenched in sweat, and I was staring at the beautiful sky. "Tired, huh?" I looked over to my left, and Zane was sitting down next to me. He wasn't sweating, or panting. "Zane~Kun... Isn't... Tired??" I simply asked, still panting. He shook his head no, I gave a little laugh, sitting up. I looked at Zane, and I realized his mask was down. He had freckles... They're so cute... Even though I couldn't believe I thought that, it was true. "There's a lake over there if you wanna go swim or something." He said, pointing to the left. I looked over, and I did indeed see a lake. It was a very beautiful lake... I looked back at Zane, who was lightly smiling. I nodded, as a thank you, and I got up walking to the lake. I knelt down and felt the water, gently moving my hand back and forth. I looked back at Zane, who was sitting on a rock, looking somewhere else. "Zane~Kun, the water feels awesome! Zane~Kun should join Kawaii~Chan!"
"T-That isnt necessary!"
"Please? Kawaii~Chan knows it might be awkward, but she would like to know Zane~Kun better!"
Zane stayed silent for a bit, then sighed. "Did you bring a swimsuit just incase?" He asked, blushing a bit. I nodded, and my cheeks were tinted with a little bit of red. "I'll get changed real quick." He mumbled, but I heard it so well. He went behind some bushes, while I hid behind some as well. I quickly got dressed into my one-piece with a little black bow around my side. I got out from the side of the bushes, and saw Zane already dressed in his black trunks and white tank top. He smiled at me, and I smiled back. "Come on, jump in!" I said, getting in the water. He smirked and did a cannonball in the water, splashing some water on me. We both laughed, and started to talk about ourselves, but I never mentioned my family or my real name...
~•15 Minutes Later and No One's POV•~
"Hey, Kawaii~Chan..?" Zane asked, a little nervous. Kawaii~Chan was now sitting on the edge of the grass, dangling her feet in the water. She looked up Zane, and her sunny yellow glistening in the light made Zane blushes. "Yeah?"
"N-Nevermind."
"But, Zane... Thank you..."
