In a future world where human beings no longer have the ability to reproduce (due to decades of exposure to harsh environmental pollutants), those who can produce are of the highest commodity. To most, they are nothing but myths to a dying population.
The world is in peril, now down to the last few children and soon there will be nothing left. A new law is in order. All "Cherished" must come forward or face the consequences.
In a world of great peril, those will go to great lengths to capture those they want most, I guess the question is, are we truly cherished or not?
