Death to them all - Chapter 18

My father's blood splattered my face and stung my eyes. What was worse was that it had come forth from my own hand.

The shock on his face burned into my mind and it was all I could see despite the feeling of the splatter. Only the thud of his body was able to snap me out of that trance. It was too late then. My father was dead, bleeding out onto the floorboards. Foreign happiness came from Archer and mixed with my utter despair creating a sour space for us both.

WHY?! I screamed into the depths of my own mind.

Because I can

A simple reason that ruined everything because .... I stepped into my house. There was little Peony playing with her ponies. My silver dagger would make short work of her. And with my superspeed it did.

I was standing in a pool of toddler blood before I knew it. It soaked into the ponies' synthetic hair and her little head sat among them like a messed up decapitated doll. Except it wasn't. It was my little sister's head. My little sister who had done nothing wrong except for having a sister like me. A stupid sister who couldn't recognize a monster like Archer.

She had even smiled when she first laid eyes on my body. She couldn't have known it wasn't me. And she won't because the smile had only dropped as her head disconnected from her body.

As footsteps marched down the hall I was turned invisible then I soared towards the owner. My mother. With silver dagger ready. I felt my muscle buckle as it slid into her throat. I flicked the dagger upwards, opening her neck to her chin and leaving spots of blood on the ceiling.

She too fell to the ground. Raven was my only family left.

Leaving bloody footprints I trudged around the house. Throwing open doors, I was looking for something. What, well that was up to Archer I had no say. I hardly cared my own hands had killed my family. How could I care?

I threw open the door to Raven's bedroom. Clothing strewn around, make up chaos, no books any any other sign of study aside from a crumpled uniform under a G-string. Boy band posters smothered the walls and chemical perfume choked the air. Clearly not my room.

Where is she?

I kept my mind as blank as it could, though the feeling of the dagger stung with so recent memories.

Tell me Natasha. Where is your older sister?

I mentally gave him the finger.

Fine, be a child about it.

A drill dug deep into my mind. I'd say that it hurt but I was numb, a survival reflex or a blessing I couldn't tell. It didn't take long for Archer to find the frame. Raven at the club. And that frame was the last thing I remembered before I was staring up into the curved teeth of the Cyan dragon again. Invisible and hovering by it I scanned the swirling crowd of people simultaneously coming and going, constantly parting the dancers.

My eye caught on platinum blonde hair that flicked in the face of the "hottest" boy there. There was my sister grinning up against him. A twisted smile grew on my face and I wanted nothing more than to pull those muscles back down. She turned to face the boy, instantly hooking up with him.

I swooping down on them, driving the dagger deep into the back of her neck. Her screams went unheard under the roar of the music and people screaming to make conversation. However the boy backed away to avoid necrophila and ran. Such a hero he was I was almost glad when I lunged forward, passing through my sister's body and kicked him down.

My leg throbbed not that I or Archer even cared. I just wrenched the dagger out of Raven's bloody neck and finished the job.

Despite the two dead bodies there was still dancing all around me. Lidia seemed to be the only one who noticed. She had let the track play as she stared down in horror at the bodies and blood.

Everyone was dead. My whole family. I stepped over my sister's body, forced to join the crowd. There I became visible and for a few bars I swayed to the music. So utterly helpless.

Once Raven was noticed by one of the mindless bodies the new rippled and the club cleared out in under a minute. I was left standing beside my deceased sister.

Suddenly large men came running towards me. All at once they were all around me. Their noses twitching. They were smelling me.... Could they smell Archer inside my mind? Their furious expressions told me that they could.

Damn it!

Archer shot upwards passing through the floors and the roof. Real fear crawled around my mind. The night air spun around me as I shot higher and higher into the air. I only stopped when it became too cold. But I hovered there breathing heavily. Not because I was exhausted but because of that foreign fear. My hands trembled.

Gods damn it... why did they have to. Right when I got a decent host. Well sorry Natasha I have no use for you anymore.

Meow myths,

Yeah that was pretty gruesome... but I had to kill them all. Even if they are only a toddler. Dark stuff...
