"DID YOU SEE THAT GIRL?" ALLEGRA EXCLAIMED, THE BLONDE BEAUXBATONS GIRL STILL AT THE FOREFRONT OF HER MIND AS SHE AND THE TWINS ENTERED THE GREAT HALL.
"The veela girl? Oh yeah, I saw her alright," said George, staring wistfully off into the distance.
"What? A veela? I didn't see her!" Fred looked upset, "I was too busy looking at that gigantic bloody woman! She's about as big as Hagrid!"
"Dude, this girl was freaking stunning," Allegra gushed. "She can't be full veela, though. She must be half or something. Can veelas even use wands?"
"Who cares, I'm in love," said George.
"Back off, bucko, I saw her first!" Allegra countered.
The twins looked at her quizzically, then at each other, then back at her.
"Wait," said George.
"Are you...?" said Fred.
"Gay? A bit, yeah."
"What do you mean, 'a bit'?"
"I mean I, like, go both ways... I guess?" Allegra began fiddling with her hair, a bit shocked that she managed to accidentally come out to a pair of boys that she'd only known for a month. The twins were speechless, which scared Allegra greatly. "Uh, are you okay? Say something."
The twins were silent for a moment, sharing a glance before simply saying, "Cool."
"Cool?"
"Yeah, that's cool with us," said George.
"I mean, not that it's something we have to actively be cool with, we're cool with it without effort," said Fred.
Allegra sighed in relief, "Thank Merlin. Uh, just, keep it quiet, if you don't mind. People can suck sometimes." The boys nodded. "Oh and for the love of God, do not tell Lee."
"Don't tell Lee what?" asked Angelina, popping up beside Allegra with Katie and Alicia behind her.
"U-uh–"
"That Viktor Krum is at Hogwarts!" Fred interjected, winking at Allegra when she shot him a grateful look.
The three Quidditch chasers' eyes widened to the size of dinner plates as they screeched in unison:
"NO WAY!"
"OH MY GOD!"
"YOU'RE JOKING!"
The sudden outburst captured the attention of about half the room, but the girls were too busy gushing over their Quidditch crush to take any notice of the confused stares and snickers.
