Chapter 16

I run and run and run as far away from the school into the woods not caring if it's dangerous. I run towards the lake that I never really got to see. Only up in me and Fred's tree I can see the lake. Fred. Just thought of his name makes me cry even more. I don't get why Angelina would do that. Then it hits me. She's also in love with him. So when she kissed him it was probably revenge. I took off my flower bracelet and threw it into the lake.

CRACK!

I pull out my wand from my little purse. I had put a charm on it so anything could fit in there.

CRACK!

I stand up and point my wand at every direction the nose could've come from.

CRACK!

"Who's there?!" I ask. I'm anxious to use a Defense spell. That's my favourite class and I always pass it so I'm the best student in that class.

CRACK!

I shoot a jinx in the direction I heard the last 'crack' in. "Ouch!" I hear Fred's voice.

"Ugh. Go away." I groan trying not to cry. I sit back down.

"No I need to talk to you." he says coming to sit next to me.

"I don't feel like talking."

"I do. Look I didn't kiss Angelina. She kissed me."

"I know."

"Then why are you mad at me."

"I'm not mad at you. I'm just upset, because seeing you kiss  someone else breaks my heart, Fred."

"I know." He pulls me into a hug that makes me less angry.

"Sorry about the jinx."

"It's fine. It wasn't that serious."

"Because I didn't mean for it to be serious. I could've killed you Fred Weasley." I say matter of factly getting up. "Remember. Top student in DADA." I say waving my wand in front of his face. He chuckles then grabs my hand and pulls me towards the castle. I don't ask where he's bringing me exactly until we reach the common room. "Fire sticks." Fred says and the fat lady's portrait swings open.

"Fred, why aren't we going back to the party."

"1, you need to rest and 2, I don't think you want to see Angelina's face right now." I can fill anger fill over my face. "Yeah, your hair explains you don't want to." I take a piece of my hair and find out it's dark red. I shake my head changing it back to normal.

"Thanks."

The next morning while I'm walking to the Great Hall for breakfast, Sophie comes and taps me on the shoulder. "Hey, Cassy. I hope your still not mad at me. I heard what happened last night. I just wanted to make sure you're okay."

"Thanks, Sophie. I'm not mad at you anymore." She gives a sigh of relief then smiles. "Okay, good. And do you know that me and George agreed to be friends?" I nod, glad they at least aren't mad at eachother. "Well, catch ya later Cassy."

"Bye." I say waving at her. When I get there I sit down and grab a whole lot of different foods. I stuff the food into my mouth since I didn't have anything to eat last night, because I left early. "You look like a pig stuffing all that food in your mouth, Cassy." George says.

"No I don't. A pig looks like this." I then change my nose into a pig's and make pig noises. George and Fred start laughing so hard. When I see Angelina I change back to normal instantly. Fred turns around to look at what I was looking at. Angelina blows him an air kiss which makes me clench my fists. I get up and walk towards her.

"Hey, Angelina, you really have some nerve to kiss MY boyfriend last night."

"Oh hey Cassy. Fred's your boyfriend? I didn't know that." she says kind of laughing.

"Where have you been this whole year?"

"Coming up with a plan to steal him from you." she says with an evil smile on her face.
